Originally posted by Getoverit Ya that works right up until someone (maybe even me) says oh yes.. this is the game I worked on. Then I suppose it turns to some other arguement. I personally don't think I need to make fun of the development team and most of those around now weren't part of what happened to SWG. They are just now trying to pick up the mess. Changing any product to try and create a new "target" audience is always a bad idea... Why do you think there is "new" Coke and "classic" coke in the stores... (yes I'm pretending to have logic.. )

| "We already have two operating MMOs. We launched a game called Ultima Online in 1997. It's still got hundreds of thousands of subscribers. Then there's Dark Age of Camelot, we also have a situation where we have well over 100,000 subscribers." -Frank Gibeau of Electronic Arts. Does it seem odd that UO has more subscribers than the best RvR game on the market? |
