Thank you Mr. Gygax, for all the fun, the teachings, the help dealing with adolescence, for opening our minds and hearts. |

One of the few REAL shakers of the times. His works have been so influential. Hard to put in words what I feel now for the passing of THE Dungeon Master. |

Wow. That is very saddening, we really wouldn't be here today without him. Gary was to gaming what robert johnson was to blues, or elvis to rock and roll, etc if you get my point. Genius. |

One of the big names in the world of fantasy. He may not have written the epic novels of Tolkien or Howard, but he spawned an entire revolution in the fantasy genre with D&D. Sorry to see a legend go. Without D&D and those odd shaped dice, my life would have been drastically different, and probably not nearly as fun. |

You sparked the minds of authors, artists, game developers, film makers, TV show producers and many, many more - and you did it with a genial smile. You did good, Mr G.

Wow. This really didnt hit me until I thought back to the first time I rolled up a D&D character back in the late 80s. I have been a long devoted fan, whether it was the original or any of the multitude of games, pen and paper (Marvel Super Heroes 20+ years and still going), or console/online games, I have been touched by the mark of Mr. Gygax and it has left an indelible mark on me forever. So long "Original DM" you will be missed. Mad "Sammy Sosa" home run celebration chest pounds for you. _________________________________ |

God, I remember my first game of D&D. Came from a box and played it over a cousin's house. Just a simple dungeon, some giant rats and spiders but after that evening I was hooked on the idea of adventurous possibility. Thank you Mr. Gygax. You will indeed be missed. |
