Hey guys,

I've got a sweet gaming rig stationed in my room, but I'm looking to purchase a lap top. I do a lot of web design, and obviously I love gaming, so I need a high end, portable machine. I refuse to purchase anything other then a 15.4" or 15" notebook though, thats my only restriction :D

I need opinions as to which lap top I should buy! If you guys know of any, please let me know.

I've been doing a lot of research and I can't really top anything except these 2..... I can't stand the design of the SAGER model though -- the battery pack stick out the back

1. Alienware Area-51 m15x - C$ 2,780.15 after tax + delivery

15.4" WideXGA+ 1440 x 900 LCD (720p) with Clearview Technology
512MB NVIDIA® GeForce® 8700M GT
Intel® Core™ 2 Duo T9300 2.5GHz (6MB Cache 800MHz FSB)
2GB Dual Channel DDR2 SO-DIMM at 667MHz – 2 x 1024MB (since 4GB req's Vista 64bit)
Intel® Turbo Memory (1GB) – Accelerate Data Transfer Speed
200GB 7200RPM (16MB Cache)
Weight: 7 lbs (not sure if that includes battery or not, so give or take 2 pounds)

2. SAGER NP2092 - C$1,954.69 after tax + delivery

15.4" WSXGA+ LCD with Matte Finish Surface (1680X1050)
Nvidia GeForce 8600M GT Graphics with 512MB DDR2 Video Memory
45nm Intel® Core™ 2 Duo Processor T9500 / 6MB L2 Cache, 2.60GHz, 800MHz FSB
2GB Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM at 667MHz - 2 X 1024MB
Intel 1GB TurboMemory Module
200GB 7200rpm SATA 150 Hard Drive

I've looked into ROCK, Falcon NW, Voodoo PC, Dell, ..... nothing really compares... can someone help me!!

Id go for the Sager, the Alienware isnt powerful enough to justify for the 800$ higher pricetag.

And also the Sager has higher native resolution which is good for webdesign and based on the pictures the Sager looks less clumsy then the Alienware.

This is a $1700 laptop and it's much better for gaming than the 2 you listed but the problem is it's a 17'' =P
