It means there's a problem with your account and you need to talk to SOE. You may also like to post this on the EQ2 forum and do a search for it there because others have likely had the same problem. Posting it here, where there are far few EQ2 players, won't do you any good. Though I'd love to know how it is that they're so bad to some people but I've been part of this game pretty much since the beginning and yet I've never had a problem with SOE tech support. Ever. My website is closed temporarily. Hopefully it will only be a short delay. |

I totally agree with you Moirae. I have not had issues that I continue to see people complain about... In the latest example, as of the last patch there seems to be a major issue with the 8800 series video card and some random crashing in certain locations. A nice lengthy thread is going on at the EQ2 forum...SOE's solution? They have ordered a sampling of various 8800 models to test with, and are diligently working through it, with Dev responses on a regular basis. When I did this in LOTRO regarding their hitching issues, it was not approached until 6 pages into the lengthy thread, and the Dev who answered blamed our systems instead of stating they had tested it, or wanted to work with us... To this day, the hitching issue still exists in LOTRO. Good luck OP. Try to email or phone SOE and see if they can help.

SOE's tech support is at times lacking, to blithly say theres otherwise is to say the least untrue.
What i will say is if you go over to the tech forums you'll find a great bunch of players who'll more often than not give you the advice you need to get round most problems that are found in the game and without them then the game would be in a sorry state indeed.
I've been lucky and only once had cause to complian about both the tech side and the CS so in my case its not as bad as the doomongers say it is (not that i'm saying this about the OP) but any company that deals with people can always,no should always strive to improve thier efforts when dealing with customers.
