Interesting, i love realism of space flight. In EVE theres no such thing when it comes to space combat, cant collide, using power to maintain afterburner speed...stupid and so on. In the very old game Final Frontier i remember a cool feature. When u were landing on planets manually...it did take some skills maneuvering your ship to the landing pad. Also landing on planets with atmosphere was cool, never seen that in other games. I remember i had great fun blasting my guns so the cops would chase me around the planet :)

Thx Eraser for notice ;)

To be frank they are just hotdogs, their girls are relish, and they need to ketchup on their pimpin.

ALOT of cat & mouse in this game, if you want it.  You can run all day long... or can you?

I sure hope there wont be any leaving of the ship to walk around. Maybe while docked in the station there are viewing windows for seeing outside, that'd be cool.

“There will be no human walk about avatars at launch. It's something that we may look at in the considerable future, but for now we are focusing on ensuring that the primary aspect of the game (space flight and combat) is fun and dynamic.” ~ Awen,

Asteroids and spacestations are solid.  Yes, you can smack into them.  That will cause damage to your ship. Objects do indeed act as cover from enemy fire.  And as cover from your own fire, of course.
