Blizzard has announced that they are offering free character moves to selected servers.

We will be offering free character moves from select high population realms to low population realms beginning February 26, at 12:00PM PST.

For more information on what realms are eligible for these free moves and exact dates please visit the announcement post by clicking here.

In the event that a realm meets our transfer goals before the scheduled end date, the transfers to that realm will be disabled. We highly recommend that if you are planning to transfer that you do so at your earliest convenience. Characters will not be eligible for these free moves once the transfers have been closed.

Is this news? They have had these kinds of events every now and then, cant seem to understand how this is different.

"News" is essentially letting people know that something is happening.

Can anyone tell me where do i find that toon in the pic? I believe ive gone to everyparts of azeroth, except lvl 60 and above instance, but ive never seen her before. thx

Yeah, this made me laugh too. Perhaps Bliz should rethink the whole "let's let five servers all transfer onto one!" idea...

 

arctarus, that screenshot is from WotLK... so no one has seen a dryad that looks EXACTLY like her in the game. There are some dryads, however, right next to Stonetalon Peak in ST Mountains.
