What the....... I can not believe that is the official stance of any company.  Station Pass has to be the only thing keeping this game a float. I just don't get it, honestly. maybe this is a new marketing tactic to see if they can draw in a crowd of botters?

As a longtime SOE customer(EQ...wife/youngest kid play EQ2) I gotta admit this is weak. They have had problems for a while with ghosting in EQ as well.

I cannot stand cheating...and to me recursive macroing is. It was one thing(besides sandbox playstyle) I was glad they were supposed to do away with when the NGE came around...guess not heh.

O well...not like my 20ish lvl Jedi is going anywhere fast. SWG has been nothing but a clusterfrack since inception. Both times I tried it I didnt last long...just like any other MMO...it isnt EQ.

I am glad I was warned off SWG before launch. As big of problems as EQ has had over the yrs, they pale in comparison. Imagine i wouldnt of been very happy either if I luved sandbox games...which I dont. Still upset though I wasted money to even try it during CU. I suppose I have more than made that money up in laughter on the forums.

At least with SOE winning the Blue ray/HD-DVD battle they should be able to hold onto the license. Another crappy game to dink around in for my 30 a month AAP  when bored ( /salute fellow members Vanguard and MxO) :P

Stick it to SOE/LEC by subscribing to the game!  SOE did find their target audience after all.  Too bad it was so small...

Two reasons for this:

1. "Tooo Haaaaard", which is apparently not only the battlecry of the SOE devs, but of their CSR's as well.

2. Obviously they can't afford to ban accounts.

Of course, the real thing they should look at (and won't, "tooo haaaard") is WHY people feel the need to AFK:  The fact that the crap left in the game is a BORING ASS GRIND FEST THAT ISNT FUN!

God forbid anyone there actually do their job.  What's next?  Credit selling is now allowed because we can't be bothered to police it?

If I went to my  boss and said that I could no longer do part of my job because I think it's too hard or too time consuming, I'd be out looking for a new job.  SOE's approach to problem solving seems to be to ignore all problems and hope that they resolve themselves on their own.

Well, you know this may sound funny, but it might be the right way to do this. We should all activate our old acounts, start afk'ing everything, and sell our credits to AFK farmers. Or start out own site, something like ngesucks-butheresomecredits.com.

No, credit selling is going to end up being allowed because SOE will be the ones doing it.

They've already partnered with a gold farming company to do RMT for their new games.
