Anarchy Online

Looks like a great I game I would love to play i was so excited but..

I downloaded from bittorent this:

Local Version: 17.6.1

Remote version:  17.7.3

Whenever I try to patch it never tries to go through. I know I need to manually patch but apparently im not smart enough because nothing is working. If somebody could send me a link or somehting to let me know what to do or maybe i even have to download a whole new client? Anyways please try to help me im lost..

Try a couple of manual patches near the bottom of this page: www.anarchy-online.com/wsp/anarchy/frontend.cgi

Then try autopatching again.

yea, a few of the patches require that u restart the client again, to keep the patching going

Also make sure you get the right patch for your client. If your client has EP at the top, use the patch versions for EP. If not, use the plain patches.

Well so far no luck but thanks guys ive kind of been going up from the bottom of the list lol.

Avoiding the patches with EP has really helped because my client does not say that so thank you Zorvan.

Ive been getting the message so far "could not find the specified patch from the patch server" or something along those lines.

Ive also got one message saying unable to save to that folder or along those lines.

Well right now im downloading like a 30mb patch while all the other have been only around 1mb. So I am waiting a little while I sure hope this one works!

Ugh getting a little frusterated already I found a patch that matches my local version and its saying cannot find the patch on server. I still get all the same messages with each patch I try...

I was wondering if it was possible if I install the newest client. Im ot sure if that would help, unless I have the newest one could someone perhaps send a link?

You'll notice it's an EP client. What this means is that it is the entire game with all the expansions built in, so if you decide to upgrade from free play you won't have to download anything else. If your current one doesn't have the EP, that means you have the small client, which is the original game and Notum Wars and requires you to download the rest if you upgrade later. You shouldn't have any problems with this client, but if you do come back and we'll try to get ya fixed up. Now if you decide to manual patch after downloading the client, remember to get all the patches in order. For example, if your client is 17.7.0, then you want every patch starting from 17.0.0 - 17.0.1, then 17.0.1 - 17.7.2, etc. Or whatever version you have.

Yeah, it's bigger but you really should download the EP ('Large Client') version.
