Right now I'm looking at the new character information panel, and I must say that is sexy. Very clean and easy to read . Running in dx10 as well and the game feels like it is running in dx9, very impressed with their ability with dx10 so far. .. |

I know some people were having troubles with DX10 when they first implimented it. I'm glad to hear it's smoother now. I didn't have much time to play last night. It was the first time I was on in about a month. Alas, all I have time for these days is talking about LOTRO. I don't PvMP, so I won't see the new Ettenmoors content. I'm looking forward to the new area for the next update though. |

The armor panel is really cool, I can uncheck the gloves helmet boots and shoulders pads right from the character journal, not having gloves and shoulder pads really does make you feel free. I can't wait to see more once I get my character past 20.
I've been trying for 3 months not to get a guardian past 20 with out dieing, no dice , hopefully this roll will be the roll ! |

Am I missing something because when i put on a statless "felt hat" for the look and turn it on (its shows the hat graphics on the paper doll in the character screen) but my char still shows the graphics of the helm that I am actually wearing. Do I have to turn on something ? |

Is it over yet... |
Good fortunes with your Guardian Solar! You'll get there just be patient and know when to run! Im trying for my first time to try and get a burglar to past 20 and its a hoot! I've never played a hobbit nor a burglar so its like a totally new game. Hehe I set a record in a postal run against my friend today |

liddokun, On the cosmetic tab where you equipped your hat you should see a checkbox that says something along the lines of "show this outfit" (would give the the exact text, but I'm at work and can't log in><) There is one on every tab including a show your armor one. Click that and it should show the hat.
p.s. you might not have your helm showing, might need to check/uncheck that box on your main character sheet

well what I dont like is the fact that they have increased the reputation. So before the patch, for example I had no rep with the men of bree but now I have high aquanitance status. It seems that you get the reputation from quests around the area? What I cant understand is why they are making things easier? I like to feel as though I have worked for reputation, for example and not for it just to be given to me. |

In any case I love the new outfit UI. Being able to turn items on an off without going into a menu is nice, as is the ability to swap between three outfits on the fly. Also love the changes to hunter. Subtle but a big improvement. Haven't had a chance to mess around with much of the new content yet. |

| I don't want to write this, and you don't want to read it. But now it's too late for both of us. |

Originally posted by solareus The new character screen is very nice. Has a clean and polished look now. The outfit system seems to be working nicely and I am digging it. Have not tried a barber yet...we'll see. I have seen some interesting fashion statements so far and some pretty cool combo's. I hope to see increased diversity. The changes to Angmar and Esteldin are terrific. Especially for me right now at level 47 things already seem much more organized. In Angmar there are swift travel locations and bind locations set up in logical areas. Mobs already seem more reasonable. Esteldin has a great crafting area with a bank and a mailbox about 5 steps away. Also graphics wise, I was running DX10 on max even in cities and it ran smooth, usually I had to turn off post-processing, but now I get a decent enough frame rate to move very smoothly (17-30FPS in town and 35-50 FPS in the wilderness). So I think they tweaked the graphics and also there was a quick vista patch that the game suggested I download when I got to my character screen. |
