The folks at The Chronicles of Spellborn have produced a video trailer of Slywood to complement their many dev journals on the game region.

In the past months, you've came to be quite acquainted with the Slywood area, as our devs presented you with many aspects of the creation process for the zone.

This video show so much more class and espescially style then 13 in a dozen games like Aion.

Great graphics on all systems and not only on high end systems.

So where is the forest. Only Slywood I saw was in the name.

All dead trees of course. There is a dev report about Slywood with more pictures on their forum. What they show in the video is actually a piece of rock that hovers above Slywood.

Disappointing video. It didn't show much at all really, I thought it was the intro over when the screen went black halfway ... but it was the end. :(

To all who are to blind too see     and  those persons  know very well who i mean by that .

Let the game be played by those who can see  ..instead of you blind guide

Because there will be always two groups of people  ..the one who understand

the meaning of a creation  and those who just shooting  something in the dark and never

will get in touch with the feeling that's live's in the creation  ....

Was I supposed to get the sense of 'doom' or 'darkness'?  I didn't.

The game has some promise, but the video just failed to deliver... anything, really.

I can somewhat understand your reaction.

Thing is though, that the lore and the atmosphere is going to be one of the bigger selling points of TcoS. I think the whole purpose of this trailer is to give you a small taste of it. For those interested in combat and action, there are also trailers available  that show that.

And then there are people that don't care about those things ... and even those that don't care about anything ;)

Pretty videos don't count for much.  Gods and Heroes had lots of pretty videos and at least they had characters in them instead of a simplistic scenery fly-by.    

Keep in mind, Beauty is useless to a video game without gameplay.    If they're still trying to claim this game is going to be released this year they should be showing the communtiy videos with characters in motion that others say are out there.   Something that shows off their latest polished animations and models.

Moody scenery and some flowery text doesn't make a game.    These developers need to show they understand this.     Because in the end, this is a game, not some film major's emo film project. 

Like i already  said before  blind guide  ....they look but don't see  and add there

comment  here ...But then they don't take the time to look further or the effort  too  take a look

on the site of TCOS.....There you find a video  that's shows you much more  about  Slywood

yes even with gameplay  ....isn't  that  not funny 

Maybe some of you don't realy understand what a teaser  means  and

what the marketing  function is in this case . You see the tearser  ...and  you

want to know more  ..so you start looking for the site  . Where you find more

info and video's  about the game and the content  . So next  time look  with your eyes wide open

use your mind   ...search further on the site of TCOS  and then place your comment

here  or on the site of TCOS

Okay, so this video is why I can't connect to their forums, the whole site died so I guess they used up too much bandwidth with the video.

Still, TCoS is a PvP game for PvPers, not for Joe Average who likes his fancy graphics and must play only the market leading games!

Seriously, doesn't matter how big a game is if the server you reside on is well populated.
