I have decided to remove my contribution to this thread.

I was hoping on a mature constructive conversation (as ppl most often have in democracy), but that failed because some ppl are so brainwashed that they cant see thing from an other view but their own.

Either its true fans answering this thread or maybe it even is the company PR-section that wanna spread positive propaganda.

This game isn't lacking, the only thing that kills it is the horrible grind and even worse, the customer support. I quit and I always want to go back but mainly the support just kills it.

Botting and Ebaying are integral to the gameplay.  End of story.  I tried for 3 years to play straight.  It's not possible.  The game was designed to require cheating.  That way everyone must cheat, and cheating is effectively eliminated because cheating is then the norm.  If everyone cheats, its fair.  Thats how L2 operates.

1. You admit to being completely addicted to the game
2. you admit to box botting (against eula)
3. you admit to ebaying (against eula)
4. you're upset that this being the first week that server transfers, name changes and sex changes have gone live that the server downtime took longer than expected
5. since you're so passionately involved and addicted to the game, you post multiple times on the forums outwardly accusing NCsoft on their own forums of being incompetent
6. All of your accounts eventually get banned, you cry and delete the remaining.

Ok, I think thats it.  I forget though.. where was the reason why people shouldnt play this game?

OH YA!  Its because of people like yourself.. that are ruining this game?  is that the point you were trying to make?

let me get this right. you mad because they ban you due to cheating and boting? now i only tried this game on open beta for 10 mins, but hey you done something that is not approved by the game. you took the risk and now your account got ban. there is no reason you should try to stop others give this game a try. (ofcourse if there is so much bot and cheat in this game I wont play)

Oh wow the first time I read I think I only read a third of the paragraphs, did not see the part where he/she said you have no choice but to ebay at 40 for c-grade and the part of the botting, did you edit your post? For adena, just stay a bit in Giran with overnight shops and in a few weeks, you should be able to get the money, especially for C-grade. The grind is the main disaster however and it may be tempting to use bots but it is your loss if you get banned.

I have noticed this during my L2 journey but this last night it just got too much.

Ive seen ppl complaining abot bots and ebaying, and yes both are VERY common in this game. Me myself both botted and ebayed during my playtime. Why? A serious answer is because its a need if ur not gonna be seriously gimped in the game. When u hit lvl 40 and need to get c-grade there is just no option but to ebay.

All I'm going to say to this is BS.

It's a great-sounding cop-out to blame the botting and this and that on "why you have no choice but to eBay". "Well, you can see botting is a problem and look at the prices! So obviously it's true!" Convenient excuse, but it's not true. The fact is you don't have to eBay, ever. What you do need is patience and to use your head a bit.

I started from scratch on a new server. I earned the money, legitimately, to buy every set of gear I needed, from top No-Grade up to C-Grade and even bought "ahead" for my Tallum Heavy (already enchanted). The Tallum Heavy alone was 110 mil and I bought it in preparation to bring my character over from another server. The toon I intended to bring over already has full +3 BW Heavy, so I don't need that. Though I know I could have gotten the money for that if I needed to as well.

I did all this in under 2 months.

A couple friends of mine started from scratch as well and are actually doing better than I am.

So.. again.. you eBay because you choose to. Not because you have to.

Period. End of story.

Now I'll just "walk on by".

Its funny that peole say that they play legit . The Weapons and Gear in this game cost Millions of Adena but I have never seen any of these legit players say how they make their Millions. I have heard about the Manor system and everytime I see somebody in game harvesting I ask them, Do you make good money from doing that? Each time I get the same responce that It pays for my soul shots. People say that you should work the market which is buying low and selling high but mostly everything on this game sells for about the same price from every seller. I just want somebody to explain how to make Millions not Thousands and yes I Ebay and I am proud of it. I work everyday so I will do what ever I want to do with my money.
