Hey, it's an Ewok love fest.  You're either into it or you're not.

Chief Chirpa of the Ewoks is sharing this year's Festival of Love with the entire galaxy! Visit the forest moon of Endor or the city of Theed beginning February 13 to join the celebration of love with the Ewok tribe.

Ewoks and the Festival of Love

Ewoks are small creatures that are native to the forest moon of Endor. The trees of the forest provide not only physical shelter to the Ewoks, but also give the tribe a sense of protection as the trees watch over them.

The Ewoks live in harmony with nature and forage for food in the lush vegetation. Camby berries are given freely during the Festival of Love, celebrated once a year to honor the kinship and love between tribe members. During the festival, the Ewoks present this gift of their hard-earned food to other members of the tribe to demonstrate trust and acceptance.

As the Ewoks celebrate the Festival of Love, tribe members prepare meals, dance, and sing traditional songs, such as this ancestral chant often heard drifting through the treetops of the forest moon:

Dugun duca lula ludia nuna, dounga, luna nudia!

Ewoks were HARDCORE in the movies!  They were AT-ST killin' BADASSES!

I can't believe they'd be given some frivolous, cartoony role in the game!  STAY TRUE TO THE MOVIES, SOE!

Partying with Ewoks on Valentines Day is really stupid.

Everyone can make all the jokes they want about it, but if there's never a Star Wars MMO that gives a damn about the Star Wars theme, then there's never going to be a Star Wars MMO worth playing, or successful.

Ah come on, give the Devs a break. Can't you see their trying everything they can think of to resurrect this turkey? SOE still doesn't realize the game started its death throes after the CU and they put it out of its misery with the introduction of the NGE just the same way you would kill a badly injured animal. Too bad they just keep trying to ride this dead horse.

If the players actually enjoying this dud today knew what they missed out on I doubt they would still be playing. Oh, well to each thier own I guess....

It was decided in a meeting with LA and SOE...being that LA IS Star Wars, if they say Ewoks have happy love fest days then it must be true :P

What? ewoks dont need love... Im sure they weren't always badass at-st killing machines. that was just a battle. You remember at the end of that movie they was all happy and partying. Nothin wrong with a little ewok love baby. I mean how else did there get to be so many of them?

If you remember... Staying true to the movies aka "iconic" had a big play in killing this game. It was alot better when it was my story in the swg.

Last I heard having a "love fest" with small furry animals was illegal in most countries , but hey SOE will do anything to get customers it seems .   :P
