I am not trying to add Fuel to a fire but please read thuroughly and feel free to add ur own comments and feedback but please keep them constructive. Sorry for the wall of text but please read wont take more than 3 mins i timed it lol.

    First and foremost is the OFFICIAL FORUMS themself. Originally when they went down im sure most if not all when we read " Down til after the New Yr " did not think after the New YR would be this far into it and still no Official word on when its coming back up.

    In their defense Yes after the New Yr could mean anytime from Jan 1, 2008 -Dec 31st 2008 as they never gave a definitive date a proper move for any business and a usual PR statement. Also in their defense I ll say that the Official Forums Hurt the Fury community more than it helped it so a temporary shutdown was probably necessary

    However, .. ... This was their only official link to the rest of the gaming community and currently its in limbo as to anything official from FURY to where its going and anything that may be in the works as well as player feedback and more. The new forums were suppose to be this grand design and something better than what we had and all who were told of this have been waiting for it. So simply where is it? Is there even one coming? IF so when can we expect it , if not a specific time then how bout round about or no later than. Being this far away from ur community thats trying to support u is not a good ideal of business practice.

    im not a programmer or a web designer by far but i have put together my own Clan/Guild Sites from scratch and have seen countless other OFFICIAL sites by other guilds and games and can say as far as the Forums go this is much to long and im sure that over a month and a half is more than enough time to better your forums. I would think that ideally u already had a template to work with and from,  so all u had to do was fill in the blanks. Anyhow nuff on that one.

    Now ill touch on something that was asked Directly from the devs to forum moderators to post ... What ladders would u like to see next?

    So we voted, at one point and time before talk of a new patch or ideas of what the patch was gonna be they were thought to be implemented at patch time or shortly thereafter. AoTc patch btw ....Its now several months later and guess what NO new ladders .... here is a true empty promise made and asked for directly by them. Not that at this time there s  alot of players playing to be on the ladders but that was also one of the reasons for vets not playing or having desire to continue weekly resets and nothing to work for or truly achieve. So again in short  Where are they ?   Youve added two new game types that have no ladder what so ever and 1v1 i would think would be the ultimate ladder most would shoot for. As it stands now BB is dead Vort and Elim are the only other ranked warzones and carnage was meant for new ppl not so much more experienced ppl though promoted to go kill some NPCs. For the 20 dollars the new ppl spend this may be enough but i spent full price and personally u havent delivered. I would imagine by now all ladders would have been implemented as it is almost 4 mos since ur official launch. Nuff on that one too.

    I ll go into the next subject thats been unfulfilled also and this one im hoping most vets feel more than others and for anyone new who cares to flame this area of this thread feel free wont change my opinion.

    Compensations to those who are considered originals. Say what u will but Immortal subscription for life was not a fair compensation. Heres a few reasons why ...First and foremost it was like the AOTC patch nothing more than ur marketing ploy that u tried to pass off as being something u were giving us to help compensate for what alot felt was money well spent but lost [ happens and we all understood this]. IN reality u offered this to all ppl who joined by a specified date . i applaud u on this as a good business move however it wasnt a compensation to us. And in several OFFICIAL threads u stated u were workin on this COMPENSATION ...

    in short we have yet to really see it ....20 dollas for game + immortal for life before jan 10 2008. im sure this had something to do with the last patch as well as when u had ot show ur creditors what u can still accomplish. however if u paid full price and was here from the beginning u paid 50 dollas and free subscription for life however most of the issues made the game highly unfavorable as well us unplayable by most ... kinda had to give it to those who paid more wouldnt had been fair if u hadnt. But again u didnt compensate us u only made it fair.

      Around the time of the OFFICIAL AOTC launch there was another OFFICIAL post on the forums that spoke of a new FURY CHALLENGE. This Challenge was to be the First official since beta as well as geared toward the launch of the AOTC patch and helping bring in a new gaming community. It was stated that all players would be able to compete due to the fact that they were gonna implement a fairness in armors / skills so that everyone would be able to compete and that this would not be based on ladder credentials.

    Again ill ask Simply put .... What happened to this idea? ...  why have we not heard anything more on official word from u on it? Is this still a possibility? as im sure something like this would curve the enthusiasm a bit more towards ppl coming into FURY once again. Should only be for Hero and Immortals to get into but still im sure even the vets would come back just for the event and this would be ur chance at showing those who left what a wonderful game u have and how ur rebalance has actually helped more than hurt ... though this remains to be seen by the masses. Since we never heard much more than an official " WE ARE WORKIN ON This" .... I wont go any further but looking forward to hearing more...

     I could go on and on with a few more things but i dont want a wall of text either just stressing a point and trying to be logical as well as open minded in my approach here but time will tell the tale. I m only hoping that the reason we dont see anything official is cos their hoping to knock our socks off and get everyone re excited for whats to come but one can only hope for that til an official word comes be it for better or for worse.

other promises : Pvp reborn ... a balanced game ....2v2 arenas..... fix for armor procs and costs to repair ... u get the hint.

Ya your right, I cant believe the forums are still down either... I feel that they were an important part of this game because at least you had direct contact with the Fury Developers. 

Its funny how you mentioned that as helpful as they were, they were just as much if not more detrimental to the game. Veterans would be saying this and claiming that and new people would be like, "hey if this guy thats been playing for over 2 months says this game sucks, whats the chances im gonna enjoy it."

Ive been playing Fury all the way back since July... and yes Auran does do a good job at making you feel cheated. I bought the game Oct 17 the first day it came out for 50 bucks, and a month later it was down to 30. Now I dont feel cheated because I paid full price, Im sure it wasn't in Aurans master plan to do a price drop so quickly. However, when AoTC came out and they made all the old armor obsolete and didnt give you a reasonable vendor price in return, I really really felt that I had been stabbed in my back. Now I didn't buy gold (couldn't imagine how those people felt), but I did spent at least 500 of my fury challenge gold on faction gear and artificers.

So in other words, the price drop just was something that happened, but the real feeling I have been screwed happened during AoTC. However, Now I am over that and am I trying to enjoy this very fun game :P

I was actually just talking to my Fury buddies and saying "hey what happened to Auran's big plans for the game... specifically that competition which they said they would start beta testing at the start of the new year". Now I know money must be very very tight, but auran kept releasing news letters claiming, they always start out rough but turn out fine. And they stated they werent done with fury, its just the begining. However, Now im kinda really doubting anything auran has ever said. It actually really makes me sad because I love this game and I dont wanna play any other game at the moment.

But Hey who knows what gonna happen, at the very end of January there was a blog stating that Auran was preparing a new version of Fury for a games show.

You know maybe Auran shut down the forums and communication to prepare something really great for us. And maybe they are keeping it quiet because this time they dont want any distractions and second thoughts from the community that its going to be all wrong. You know, the past teaches us to always expect the Unexpected... I am just hoping the unexpected is a really awesome patch, and not a message stating servers will be shutting down

Don't worry bro at least a couple of the Fury paycheckers are here on this forum, running stuff from what I can tell.  Interesting read you put up by the way.
