Cabal Online

I found this on a Mabinogi forum, and this had been able to get through the IP block on that. I'm guessing it will work for Cabal too.

If anyone can verify it works post it here.

"Here's my suggestion on how to Bypass the 30022 IP Ban error.

If you find this article helpfull, please register to the forums as this took a bit of research to find and we'd appreciate your input and verification if it works for you or not.

Right, on to the good stuff!

1. Download HotSpot shield at the following URL: http://anchorfree.com/downloads/hotspot-shield/
2. Install and Run HotSpot
3. It will either open a website or you may have to right-click the system tray icon and select "Properties". Press the green button "Run HotSpot Shield"
4. Wait till the state says "Connected"
5. Log into Mabinogi! Your IP should now be masked to an NA IP.

Hotspot does place advertisements at the top of your browser when browsing ONLY WHEN IT'S RUNNING and once you close it ("Right-click", "Exit") the advertisement will no longer show. Definatly a tiny cost to pay to play this amazing game!

Try this out later today and let me know if it works.

OMG stop trying to get into our version of cabal we have been waiting for a long time for our version go play on yours or wait for Cabal SEA to open which is very soon (feb 27 i think) we dont need more people to join and cause lag now i see why EU did a IP BAN. <Mod edit>


im sorry about my angry rant i dont wanna offend anyone its just that its a great game and theres a IP ban for a reason so theres a limited amount of people who can get in so no crowded servers ore lagging all the time. Just wait for sea to open im sure its soon and if your friends are in NA/US ask them to play SEA.

This was originally intended for users in Australia and New Zealand, before I found out i can log in after all.

NZ/Aus: Not Supported

Asian Versions

NZ/Aus: Not Supported

SEA

NZ/Aus: Not Supported

American: Only recently found that it's supported (even though they specifically said, no country out of NA can play)

So you see, it was intended for a good reason. We are never going to get local servers....

I remember having to use proxies to bypass the IP block playing the Cabal EU game from the U.S.

Pretty decent game I must say, the only thing that drew me away from playing was the lag "because of using proxy"

I do wish you could jump in the game "think all games should have this feature" & for the maps to feel less like small maze type zones, want it to feel more open.

By all means use this method to access the game if you're curious, but be forewarned: It's a relatively easy matter to add this proxy's IP to the ban list.

i have windows vista on my pc i installed it anad everything. when it was dong the updates it told me 2 put launcher again wich means press the icon again and do the update thing again.... wen the updates were done it said 2 do the luancher thing again then an error popped  up so idk if its cause of that reason but... as far as im concerned the ip thingy works but i cant even go into the log in part due to the launcher or idk if its my windows vista so PLZ I WANNA PLAY IT BADLY HELP ME!

IP Bans are there for a reason people so the servers dont become overcrowded like silkroad and people start botting and shit! if there wasnt IP bans then servers would lag like cazy. We had to wait forever for our version just wait for yours or SEA version thats coming out very soon. patience is a virtue.
