Now I've been looking at this game for a couple days, and I've been wondering if i should download it or not. Is it just training, or does it have other side stats to gain? Does it have a good community, or is no1 helpful and just call eachother noobs. Thanks :) ~mike408~

A poll? Seriously? Just download it and try it. If you like it, great! If not, may you find something you like better... ~Ripper
p.s. W1 is the most populated world at any given time, but it's also has the most immature players. Try one of the other worlds like 4 or 7. |

In my opinion its still in its development, they just got a bunch of new designers and stuff and are just releasing their giant mass of new enemies. The only real problem with it is lack of content and it appears that is starting to be fixed.
Thats not to say its not worth downloading, I just wish I could go forward in time. |

you should definately download this game, its one of the best Completely Free games out there,NCsoft made it so you know its pretty good,it plays with low lag due to the low graphic requirements and its pretty fun to do so many quests and play in a party. It may get somewhat repetative because the dungeons just reload with monsters each time you leave and re-enter but overall its a good game, the makers' goal was to make a game that was compatable for computers with average or a somewhat below average graphic cards and still deliver a fun gaming experience! You have two choices,Die quick or Live tortured...choose wisely...I'll make you regret either choice |

Its pretty good.Worth downloading for sure. Its just a hack n slash affair with very open character building. They have a whole new content update on the way i believe.

Graphics are fair, interface is simple and efficient and gameplay is superb. The majority of the community (world 4) is helpful and courteous. This game is tailored to the loner as well as the more sociable type of player. I've gone through several games before settling on this one. I do plan on subscribing in the medium term. Most definitely worth the download.

It is a novelty indeed - a poor mans WoW! :) Mindless bashing - very arcadish. Tedious "dungeons" cross-linked and interlinked across several levels - very confusing. It is fun for a while. Definitely worth a play or two. |

- Free - Worth it - Simple - More of a diversion than an "immersed" type of play; something you can pick up and put down very easily for a few hours every week - a gap filler if you will - Can be fun to play with your young kids rather than letting them deal with boneheads in a game like WoW [the interface is very easy etc] (my toddler still isnt even 2.5 yrs old soooo .... she has to wait a year or .... til i even contemplate letting her into a non-kiddle mmo ... learning to speak is more important right now lol) x xkey was here |

To honest I dont think this game is great, and feel that there are a lot of other great free mmo's out there compared to this. I dont think the graphics are great even for a free mmorpg, but thats not the problem...I played this and constantly got called a newb and all that jazz., also no one helped me.
Oh, and for heaven sakes dont upgrade...Spend a little more and buy NC Softs best game...Guild Wars. The only things I get high on are MMORPGS's |

What world did you play on? If it was world 1, try one of the others like 4 or 7. Also, what kind of help did you want? The entire game can be soloed from 1 - 100, even by non-members. ~Ripper

Iv played this and you shouldnt download this unless your going to pay 5$ a month. This does seem like a fun game ( for the time i played), and when your a member you can TALK to other people, most of the items in the game are for members only and when a free member it isnt much fun. ( to me ). |

If you don't like the game, that's fine, but you're saying things that just aren't true. Most items in the game ARE for non-members. All high-level non-members HAVE the best gear in the game, even though they have a lower drop rate than members do. There is definitely incentive to become a member. After all, the devs want to make money. It's a business. That being said, at the present, non-members can do everything members can and can use the best items in game. Also, what do you mean by "and when your a member you can TALK to other people"? Everybody can chat with everybody else, member or not. Are you referring to the in-game voice chat? If so, it's true that members are the only ones who can speak with it (non-members can hear). That being said, nobody uses it, so it's a moot point.

You're either ignorant or lying. Non-members can use the most powerful weapons and armor and can stack potions. Here are links to view the gear of some well known level 100 (max level) non-member characters: All three are non-members, always have been, and all three have multiple Mythic items (the rarest and most powerful items) equipped. They're hardly "gimped". In fact, they're better equipped than my main member character is: Here's a link to one of my non-member alts: As you can see, she's equipped with a Unique (Purple) item and has stacking potions in her inventory! ~Ripper |

its a nice game for a casual player its not that big and easy to get into, you should try it. Im not saying it will be the best game experience ever, but it is a good casual game :) , i play it sometimes when i have not so mush time to play or just when im bored of other games ------------------------------------------------------------------- |

Well maybe he hasn't played it since before the stacking minor pots and nonmembers yellows+ were patched in. On release I was disappointed in the free acount, but these days free is worth playing. Basically, the higher the rarity of the item, the less likely it is it'll drop without a "members only" flag. However, this is offset somewhat by the existance of certain rare merchants, sam and sally, and most notably RB sally. These guys will see you some of the best gear in the game for either gold or king's coin (DR's quest tokens) It's an absolutely fantastic time killer for between classes, lunch breaks, or when you're waiting on your *insert subscription-based MMO here* is patching or on server downtime. |

Im really enjoying playing this right now,I even subbed for a month (£3.49!). Ill probably buy the retail box next month unless I get totally bored of it. The latest patch added a few new skills in and changed a lot of the early dungeons around, which is a big improvement. I hope they start to add a lot more skills though,as even now it still feels a little bit limited in certain areas. Stuff like fire skills for rangers, perhaps shadow and fire fighter melee attacks, that kind of thing. |

Yeah, I'd love to have a "lightning ball aoe shot" for rangers. The first mob would get hit and then lightning would spread to x number of mobs/rank of the skill! Have you checked out steve's unofficial suggestion site, idearunners.com? It's excellent and he and the other devs provide feedback and even vote on the ideas. That one, in particular (a broader range of elemental attacks for fighters and rangers) has been suggested, so hopefully folks vote on it and it gets implemented. ~Ripper |
