The game will never be back to pre-cu or cu, except for the..... you know.

So seriously, SOE supported SWG servers? Do you honestly want that? Do you? When in the future we wont have to worry about SOE at all?

Come on guys, give it a rest, it's not worth sitting here dreaming about SOE magically opening a few classic servers for a group of whiners, most of us don't even give a fuck about SOE anymore and would rather avoid playing any game under their companies command.

Get a grip, wait it out, and the game you once love just may be able to be played, without SOE's bs.

We vets aren't going to save your NGE for you.

We aren't coming back, not for NGE in any form.

And I, for one, wouldn't come back even if Smed personally asked me WHICH Pre-CU publish to re-instate, because I wouldn't trust the bastard to not bait and switch me again as he did to me twice while I played SWG.  I wouldn't buy a pack of gum from Smed, he's just not trustworthy.

As a consumer I am requesting not dreaming. I prefer the pre CU product.

Why do people cry over spilt milk?  Maybe it was the last bit of milk in the carton and now we can't have our cereal.  Ever think of that?

Uh, this is a public forum, so people post their opinions and experiences with the whole SWG, NGE, SOE etc...  It's perfectly fine.  Why does it matter to you?

And your last line sounds more like a hint to private servers with Pre-CU... Which I am not even going to get into the legality of it.

With all due respect, I don't think the OP is an NGE'r judging by his statements (I could be wrong) nor was he defending SOE. He was simply saying 'wait for the E to the M to the U.'

I agree. There was a time when there were arguably good reasons to lobby for classic servers. But now I don't think any of those reasons apply anymore. At this point it's best to just wait for flightless birds.
