How much does the job pay? Only unethical companies neglect offering a salary range. |

Hm, I have no idea how this is handled in US, but here in Germany you will find that most job offers have no information about payment. So this is really not unusual here. I can´t remember a single job oppotunity I applied for that mentioned the hight, or even a range, for the payment. It is simply not done here this way. It has nothing to do with this being unethical or something. So, in most job offers you will get asked what you are except to be paid, and hopeful you are not too far away from what the company wants you to pay. |

Weakness of attitude becomes weakness of character. |
It's the same in the UK, which is where Codemasters is located. Wages are rarely ever mentioned in an ad. Usually you hav to contact the company or the agency doing the hiring. It has absolutely nothing to do with ethics and everything to do with standard procedure. So stop grasping at straws trying to mud sling.

They were paying AD to do this job till december. And .. the salary was pretty low. something like 9,50$/h .. but that's canadian dollars, Not US or EURO. (My friend was a GM there) I heard they are giving more, but, why they didnt keep the contract with AD if they're going to be higher. Soo, You need to know that's something near 10$/h |

Never make anything idiot proof as someone will make a better idiot. |
They really need to go into more detail with this if they are expecting professional applicants. For example do you have to actually work in Germany (it implies that you do) or is it possible to work from home anywhere in the world as long as you have access to the relevant tech? What rewards are on offer? I have 15 years high level Customer Care experience, 8 of those as a manager in high level complaints. 29 years experience playing video games, 10 years in online games. I am fed up with my current job (37 hours a week of un-challenging repetition) so I am looking elsewhere but this tells me nothing terribly useful. For example working in Germany = forget it (I love living by the English seaside). Working from home = Perfect. And no self respecting customer services processional in the UK would consider a role without being aware of the basic remuneration package. I have been looking at job ads for several hours a day and its rare to see no data at all.

on the site they ask for a CV and a cover letter, i'm only 18, almost 19, been at my first job (still current) for almost 2 years, not much experience in applying to jobs. So when they say 'CV' that would be a resume, or what exactly? |
