Its NOT an MMO, just to get that out there. But it is an RPG/RTS/FPS that runs on individual servers with matches. If any of you are familiar with Natrual Selection or the Battlefield series, it mixes those elements with some rpg elements as well.

In the game you can play as 1 of 2 factions such as Humans or Beasts. And in games, you can control a myriad of units as you follow instructions from your commander to gain map dominance. It reminds me of what warhammer is gonna be like when it comes out.

This game is a lot of fun. There is a 5 hour demo out rt now and the game is only 30 dollars. So,  if your bored of your current selection of games, give this one a try.

I helped test the first one and would have played it, but due to lack of marketing this silent gem of a game was just that.  Silent most of the time but Savage was one of the best RTS combination games I have seen in qutie a few years.  I read a bit about Sav2 and think this will be just as good, but again you don't hear anything about marketing and without getting the game out there, it will be just another niche game.

Hope they do something with marketing though, and if the beta I am in currently keeps heading towards a dump like it has lately, you may see me there.

Its honestly a lot of fun and I cant believe i had never heard of this game. I think i had signed up to beta it a while back and never got in. Then i just forgot about it. This game is a crrap ton of fun.

Ive been playing this and its great.

Its like an fps,but your actually units in an rts game.More units/classes are unlocked as your commander researches them,and each class has around 6 skills it can use.

For example,there is a scout class that dual wields daggers,has stealth,uses bows and crossbows for ranged and can blow up buildings,theres a paladin style healer class who can shoot bolts through his sceptre,a shaman ape who can deal nature based attacks and heal,pretty standard MMO style stuff but in an fps setting.

You earn gold in battle that you can spend on armor and ammo upgrades,or on mana,stamina and health potions.You can also gain persistant items that have various effects which can drop from players or mobs.These items i think you can keep permenantly but you have a limit to how many you can bring into battle.

Graphically,it looks very good,and it seems to run well.

awesome game find me playing under fusionx212 :)  marketing is poor for this game but's is a a great game with tonnes of potential

I was ashamed that I had never heard of this game. It truly is a great find.

I’m currently having lots of fun with TF2, and if I wasn’t playing TF2 I would be playing Civ 4, but I’ll check it out.  The best way to enjoy MMOs is to not play them.

Is this out now?  Download only?  I don't see it in any stores.

Yep download only means easy share to customers and they dont need a publisher. which in turn means full profit goes to them. which i think $29.99 is very fair for a game of such fun playerbility.

They self publish the game, so it only costs $30.
