Star Wars Galaxies

So i want to start, what and where I need to purchase ?

I need original "Star Wars Galaxies" game and a "Jumping to Lightspeed" expansion, how much does it cost to get both of them ? When i purchase that, does it include 30 days of playing time ?

May as well go for the 'The Complete Online Adventures' (I think that's what it's called, Station Store is down for maintenance right now) where you get every expansion included, you can get it from the Station store and download it.

But first pick up the trial and try the game. If you like it, buy: The Complete Online Adventures. Dont buy any other cose this one is the cheapest and it have all the expansions.

Yep, the trial is the way to go. It does limit certain things though. You can only chat so much in spatial chat and I think your trading options are limited too. These measures were put in last summer to combat gold farmers spamming adverts. But you'll get a feel for the gameplay, how the professions work and so on.

Farstar and Chimaera are the most populous EU servers. I think Bria and Sunrunner seem to be popular US ones.

I would say Bria, bloodfin and chilastra the most populous US servers. Good luck! :)

I think Chimaera is one of the most heavily populated servers across the board - there are constantly threads on the official forums from players (especially US players) transferring to Chimaera

So I would create a character there is I were you :-)

If you do the free online trial which is 14 days and then order the digital download off the swg website you will get 30 days free with the purchase. 44 days of game play for the 20 dollars aint half bad even if you decide you don't like it at the end of the 44 days, that is a lot of play for not much.

IMPORTANT: Choose one of the more populated servers. The most populated US server is Bria, the second (according to GCW stats) looks to be Bloodfin. For Europe it is Chimaera. You dont have to choose one of these, but playing on server with very low population is a pain for new player.
