ArenaNet has announced that they will be updating Guild Wars over the next few weeks to allow players in various language districts to travel to different language districts.

This is actually a really good idea. Despite not being able to understand other languages, it would be interesting to see how players from other places play. It may seem minescule to others but I just might reinstall factions just to check this out. ~Greatness~ MMORPG Blog |

it may not be a bad thing to learn chinese By all means become fluent in Standard Mandarin Chinese asap if you hope to remain employable in the next few decades. Seriously. Practicing using a language in a mmog is a great idea, more fun than drill and practice and a change from the standard foreign language films and tv. Maybe language classes could form guilds and play online as part of the class! |
