Number 1 in what? Current subscriptions? Graphics? Content? Grind? You need to base your poll on something because it won't every become #1 in all of these. |

In graphics they should have a section for textures and well proportioned meshes, if anything NCsoft does textures right. Who the heck needs 'a next gen' graphics engine when your'e textures aren't well defined. In that respect Aion owns all imo. ^_^ (,,,)=^__^=(,,,)Game Latte Vidcast |

yup! i think you are very correct in that Aions textures/ graphics are very good for an MMO. I think the game has the potential to be a very good game. Im hoping it will be more successful then CoH/CoV and Guild Wars. But i struggle to see how it will ever attract more players than WoW. Ballistic! |

Haha this is deja vue all over again, a similar thread was started about 3 months ago. Then i said "NO", but i've watched this game evolve and im changing my mind and saying "YES". Looking and evaluating this game i definately see the potential for this game to be number 1. Its all in NCsoft's hands now... ______________________________ |

Aion has the potencial of being nr1, but atm there isnt much advertising or official information coming out, so its to soon to make any conclusions. But the game is korean, and most WoW players play it exactly to avoid a korean style mmorpg, Aion is the 1st mmorpg developed by the korean leading company of mmorpgs that uses the WoW play style, so there will be alot of suspicious regarding this game, and i doubt it will ever start receiving better criticism until people actual get to try it. Its really easy to think that warhammer and AoC will be succefull games because everyone already knows how both games style will be, on Aion theres still many unaswered questions and since its the 1st big korean mmorpg with a non-grind play style, people wont believe it until they play it. |

Number 1 in 2k8? Yes. AoC is starting to look really shifty, 70 days till release and we're hearing next to nothing, not a good sign. Warhammer is being pushed back because the beta is revealing that the game is lacking in the fun content. TCoS could be interesting, but it could fall flat on its face. Fallen Earth might not even release in 2k8, and even if it does, the setting probably won't appeal to everyone. Oh yeah, and PotBS is already slating up to be a smaller title. So Aion could be the game of 2k8 if it works at it. Its an NCSoft title, but NCSoft titles aren't famous for being bad, they're famous for having various problems. CoX is grindy, but amazing character design, Lineage has great graphics, but just takes to much time, TR is really pretty, but Garriot just didn't have the funds/time to finish the game (and that's his fault). Overall, its seems to me NCSoft gets a bad rap, especially when you compare it to SOE (SWG debacle, Vanguard, etc.). In every country and in every age, the priest has been hostile to liberty. well currently right now though most people dont agree ,including myself. WoW is the number 1 mmorpg on the market to date. it is by far the most popular and is the most criticaly acclaimed. even celebrities play the game and im not basing this off those new commercials dave chappele used to play WoW and for all i know he still does. |

if it plays like lineage2 it will be number one in Asia, and about 5% of the players will be in US/EU.. And NCSOFT will continue to provide the worst ever costumer service. |
