I've wanted to buy like a Holiday home in America and eventually living there like Miami or something just because the day i was there it felt very 80's still from all the style and i love that. However while i've been to many places in America i've only been in tourist areas and obviously havn't seen what living there is really live. All i seem to see on the TV like Top Gear or the News is like red necks chasing you down because you don't agree with them or mado chrsitian religious freaks. Also lots of shootings and lots of shanty town type places full of poor people comiting lots of crime and that where if you go as a white person you'd be shot.

Just wondering what it's really like to live there because all i see on TV is the bad and all i see when i'm there is the good, apart from the horrible oversized tourist food portions where the starters are the size of a cow.

So just wondering how do these things i see on TV living in the UK really effect your ever day life there? I mean wil i have to care about the whole politics there and will i be hunted down by rednecks everyday cause i don't believe in god lol. Will i break my leg and have to pay 4 million in fees lol...

So whats it actually like to live there?

"The Man" is always looking out for are unwell-being.  The man who wants to horde money and ships our economy overseas, while not spending the mass riches he accumulates that is causing our current depression.  The one who has made the job market so fierce having a 3.7 GPA Bachelors of Science Degree means nothing to an employer.  The only relief we have from "The Man" is from the fact in a couple decades our economy may be as bad as mexicos and people will be looking to us for cheap labor.

Is the UK filled with bucktoothed scurvy stricken people with something shoved up their ass?

I suppose that answers your question.

Justification is an event. Sanctification is a process.

There is no witness so terrible and no accuser so powerful as conscience which dwells within us.

These are quite possibly the worst replies to an honest thread I've seen in a while.

Miami is a pretty nice city. Florida in general is a fantastic place to live.  You don't have to worry about rednecks at all, that would be say, more in central america, and only in very rural towns.

Miami does have a great deal of cubans though, but they are mostly pretty nice.  Just a few hour drive will get you to Orlando, which is one of my favorite cities in the US. They have alot of theme parks, and the town stays really clean, mainly because of the tourism. Everyone is so nice there.

Miami beach is fantastic. If you look around enough you'll find some nice nude beaches if you're into that kinda thing.  The sand and surf is awesome, and it's definitely worth it.

I wouldn't take the new to heart, I don't even watch the news because all they want to report on are the bad things. Unless theres a "miracle" story, everything else talks about what bad is happening and political problems and a bunch of other things blown completely out of proportion, because if there weren't major problems, they'd have nothing to report on.

Other notable cities you should look at would be New York (theres truly no place like it), Seattle, Phoenix, Boston and Los Angeles.  If you're looking to buy a home I would consider buying in texas, as housing prices are extremely low in comparison to other states.

As for the not believing in god thing, don't sweat it. The U.S. is a melting pot of race and religion.  Large cities are full of crazy religions and the like.  Hey if scientologists actually set up shop without being tarred and feathered, then you should have no problem fitting in with your beliefs.  Not believing in god still stands a whole lot higher then scientology in my book.

Cheers

Ugh! I personally can't stand the heat from Miami, FL. I moved to GA because the weather is nicer, but I'm starting to miss IL ALOT!

You need to speak Spanish if you live in Miami.
