Some 'kids' under the age of 18 can be mature.  Its just some of them think they are better than everyone else, and that makes people think that all under 18s are going to be like that.  I think that is an unfair accusation to other people that are not like the others.

On the AoC website, there is an age limit of 17 to get into the site, so i guess that is what age they think is acceptable to be able to view its content.

im not quite sure if Conan will have much kiddies around, Conan lore and world and all the designs in the game seems a bit off from the taste of a 12 - year olds. im not saying that all like to play such games as guild wars, wow or maplestory but i do think that conan doesnt look too good from the eyes of a child..

and by the way theres nothing that we can do to prevent some immature fellow barbarians in our lines... accept it how the world goes... not everyone can be like your best friend..

I remember good all days with Everquest2 when i alone kill group of 6-7 noobs with my female dark elf scout and shout at their corpses PWNED  and dancing around and jumping over their dead bodies. So what if its mature game im 25 years and it should be possible to everyone play game more players it wont be boring even kids so what they are easy prey and easy to kill lol pwned owned...

"No matter what it takes....no matter how it must be policed (even by us if need be) underage kids should be reported and tossed. I am SO HAPPY that someone finally had the gumption to put out an "M" rated MMORPG. And for it to be CONAN at that. ROCK ON. Being for a mature audience  will open up space and knock down walls that have made supposedly immersive games so....well not immersive and completely unrealistic even for fantasy (yes I know fantasy isn't real but you know what I mean). We wil be able to knock down those walls and see and do things that will feel more natural. Life, even a fantastic representation, simply has not been represented properly up to this point. The mature rating should untie the developers hands to have content more along the lines of what we as ADULTS want to be involved with. Now I dont mean a porno laden swearing fest....but if a boob is shown or an NPC says ...whatever....it will add to teh experience.

Let this be an ADULTS ONLY game.

NO way. I am tired of WoW fanboys who, most recently, were like a damned PLAGUE OF LOCUSTS when the gates opened for everyone on Tabula Rasa. An example: Before TR's opening day....the special channel they have for 'New Players' was used as it should be questions asked and asnwered as best as they could be. Now its all smarts assed BS on all channels. I honestly think they were TRYING to ruin the game....."WoW this WoW that..."this sucks...YOU n00b, etc". I have freakin' HAD IT.

The game is cool as hell but these  opinionated game-hate-mongering little punks are ruinous to a chat room. let this be where they are not welcome, unwanted and tossed out on their little asses when seen. it should be simple: If you are an immature opinionated-loudmouthed child. We don't want you, you are not welcome, not here, not now not ever in CONAN. And we  work together with game devs and get em the hell out. They have plenty of other virtual spaces to pollute.

No you cannot tell who's under 18 eveyrtime but I am gettin damn good at being able to tell. As are others. And the ones who stay under the radar because they are mature. More power to em. But I refuse to lay down and let kids trample another game I play.

MYSELF AND THE GUILD THAT i AM WITH HAVE ALWAYS HAD A 18+ RULE AND HAVE BEEN TALKING ABOUT A GAME THAT WOULD COME OUT AND POLICE THIS . A DREAM COME TRUE IF THEY DO IT.

The chances of Funcom truly policing who is and who is not 18 is a snowball's chance in hell.

I think in a Guild heavy game like Conan idiots and such are going to find it harder to join Good guilds, considering that most have 18+ rules these days. And while they may claim AoC to still be solo friendly, i think the people that get the most out of it and stay for the long hall are going to be those who get the most out of the Guild system

I think its ridiculous that you want to regulate this game so badly. its not all kids you want out. its the immaturity. yes most kids do run around saying "haha Pwnd you"

but honestly is it that big of a deal? /ignore. besides most good guilds will be 18+. are there kids going to be under 18+? probably but those ones will be mature enough.

yea it sucks when you get stuck i a pug with a bunch of brats. but you guys should me mature enough to handle it. i see just as much whining and complaining in this forum as i did in WoW
