This game is becoming so pathetic it makes me ill. They do not know what else do to do recruit more subscribers. First the Scanveger Hunt chapter now this. All they do is create and give away new in-game items - and the more rediculous the better. Krayt Skull backpack, light bending barcs - wtf? and episode 1-3 posters ??? They went as far as creating a "Nova Orion" station... What is this Star Trek?

Who would have said SWG would come to this one day...?

I foresee current subscribers running to buy more accounts, refer themselves, get the reward, unsubscribe, whine on the forums about the no-trade restriction, rinse repeat.

This is the dumbest idea I've ever seen.  They actually wasted coders and art people (lack of which is why they can't fix the animations) on this?

They'd get more subs in 24 hours after putting up some classic servers (which just needs a load from a tape onto a machine) than with gimmicks like that.  The fanbois will just spend money on trial accounts.

You notice they aren't offering free game time like most buddy programs?

Most of the ones currently in existence give you a free month after the person you referred pays for a month.

This is like some mutated version of what EA did in Earth and Beyond.. but less cool.

I guess it will make people that still have fun in the game happy (good for them.. seriously.. its not their fault the game is where its at).

However... it really makes me wonder why they aren't offering free game time.. oh wait I already know..

So if I refer 4 people .. I'm able to get 3 posters and a hyper fast barc speeder?

You can spend 20$ on the complete adventures and get that RT-ST or w/e its called.. and that thing is fast.

So why in the hell would I want to refer 4x15 = 60 worth of game time for a barc speeder?  and 3 posters I wouldn't have wall space for..
