Sadly the accompanying article is more exciting than the screenshots.
The graphical appearance of EQ2 is a mixed bag. Some things look great and some things look horrible, and a lot of it looks washed out, flat and just plain boring to me. But, this is just opinion. I'm sure some love it. |

And it saddens me, as the game look bright, colorful and attractive when I am playing... Secret sauce right now is the 8800GT with 16X AF, shadows on and at least a 4x to 8 x AA, and textures at maximum in game...add a 3GHZ per core CPU and 2 gigs...well, then it looks incredible.. Check these as examples There are more in that album...but you get the idea...and basically the images on this site look NOTHING like mine...hmmm Cheers! |

Yes indeed. if you don't have a good computer, all the screenshots which are taken by you wil be very poor. |
