OK, will you various people believe that the same company that is accused with fraud would also be so shady as to post a doctored "in-game" screen shot? See the link Zorvan posted. Being on a bandawagon is fun. |

Why is MMORPG even bothering to post this trash? With all the recent news it is quite obvious STO is history because Perpetual will soon be no more. Any disinformation out of Perpetual is laughable at best. Next time the fools need to hire a business manager so they actually understand what it entails to run a business not a comedy shop. |

Not too bad, I say. While this isn't the sort of news that gets me jumping up and down hyping STO again, it's enough to remind me that it's still out there getting worked on, and yes, that the death of Gods and Heroes was not in vain. Hopefully this criticism of their first in-game screenshot in ages will encourage them to start releasing more and prove to us that this is the real deal. Personally, I don't think the ship looks *that* bad or out of place, artifact "jaggies" aside. My best guess, personally, is oddly that it seems like the lighting on the ship is coming at the wrong angle... Like it's getting hit with light, but the planet in the background closest to the ship isn't as much, or something to that efffect. But still, if this was 'shopped, good work to them, because I can't really tell right off the bat. I'm of the ones, rather, that are more curious about the Overseer D'Gem picture. It definitely looks curiously... Cartoony. Like it belongs less in Star Trek and more in Ratchet and Clank. (Think Ratchet Deadlocked; doesn't he remind you a little of Gleeman Vox, the big bad guy?) I bet it's just a still image too, like it won't even be moving, just enough to give you an idea of who you're talking to. Still, not a problem, I'm used to it. :P Personally, I'm interested in seeing the dialog options. While certainly not a new thing to RPGs or MMOs, if used right, they might be able to achieve a depth in the game's universe that many have heralded, for example, Bioware for since Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. To that point that I think people are still clamoring for them to just practically redo Star Wars online and forget Galaxies ever existed. For Perpetual to come out of the shadows and pull off that sort of impression that they totally did everything related to Trek justice would probably be their ticket to major success. Yeah, still probably not Blizzard level, but close enough that fans will already be speculating just what their next major IP will be, if not them using the profits from a year or two of STO to finish the work on G&E, if not rework it from the ground up. |

Perpetual is nowhere even close in legue of Bioware and Blizzard..... Its like comparing Yugo to Porche or Mercedes |
