Including me! I don't think a lot of people who played medic even realized what they were capable of before the patch. It seems like a buff if you read the patch notes, but it's the old trick of trying to hide the stuff they're really nerfing. I knew it would happen eventually as medics were basically playing in "god" mode before, but still... :(

It's funny people are complaining about the rage nerf but not medic. They have no idea how badly medics got nerfed.....or how strong they were before. Was fun while it lasted :)

And if you use a couple of powers in the correct combination, you are still pretty much guarenteed to take down stalkers for breakfast.

Disease 4 and physical immunity make stalkers easy, but it's not the same as mowing down entire regions of the map at a time with lightning 5 and regen wave. I think in a lot of ways exobiologists are actually stronger than medics now. If they improve the pet AI a little more, this will be especially true.

medics were pretty much the weakest class in the game now they are totaly useless

this nerf caused me to cancel yesterday

Hahaha you guys have no idea what you are talking about. Bio Engineers and Medics are just as godly if not more with the new content. Reconstruction is ridicilous and with proper specs and good health regen armor , you are unstoppable. It is possible to be on permanent regen wave. Not to mention that medics now get a -50% body debuff when used together with the -50% health debuff, effectively reduces your enemy to 25% of total health. You guys should really experiment with some builds before crying. But I guess its for the better. We dont want everyone playing medics anyway :D

Actually I think you don't know what you're talking about. I have experimented. Reconstruction is good, yes. The body debuff from disease is so so (usually knocks off another 3k hps on lvl 50 players after recon 2...). You can still do well, that is true. The permanent regen wave is not true unless you have 2 medics. They made the cooldown longer than the duration of the ability.

The major difference is before the patch regen wave had no cooldown at all. You could easily keep it going 100% of the time. If you add lightning 5 to this, it was unreal what you could kill at one time. The health regen of constant regen wave is faster than any bio armor stacked with reconstruction 4/5. I'm not really complaining because I think it was overpowered before the patch. I will say that medics can kill tough single targets more easily now because of disease and reconstruction. They are weaker in regards to pvp (insanity changes) and "grinding" a massive amount of mobs at once (regen wave nerf). Most of your damage is single target now.

Biotechs got buffed, not so much medics. Maybe with the medic nerfs combined with the biotech buffs, it balances out to what it should be. Medics are definitely weaker in both pvp and pve post patch though. Through biotech, they have some tools that make up for it somewhat. Disease helps with occasional bosses/stalkers.

Yea I'd agree to all the 'medic nerf' IF you could only use the medic stuff however it's stacks with the Biotech stuff and it's VERY nasty indeed, helping both the teir 4 classes out, however the only thing i'll agree on is that medic now seems and addition only to the biotech skills and not really an upgrade like the other  teir 4s feel like.. it just needs tweeking.
