Yeah the choices were WEAK to say the least. Best free to play game choices? There wasn't even a Hellgate:London, Archlord, RF Online, Shadowbane, etc.

Very poor choice organizer. Maybe next year you should have 2 tiers of voting. The first one would be to pick the games that deserve to be the top 10 on each list.

But I still love mmorpg and still love everyone who works here. Your work is always supported. Just don't fire someone for giving a game a bad review!!!(why didn't you report on the gamespot scandal anyways? ahh it's not mmo related).

Tabula Rasa has my vote for best game of 2007, who knew it was going to be so fun!  However, overall best game, well =V= is about as polished as they come and is always getting better every year.

2nd Life has a huge media following and there are a few hundred thousand to a million people playing the game.  For some reason they don't have much activity on MMORPG.com, but they are a force to be reckoned with outside these forums.

yeah, thats precisely what I came in here to say. I couldnt vote for L2 so I just skipped that one. Skipped a few of them acutaly, nothing worth voting for.

I hope they fix the Lineage 2 thing soon, won't vote until then obviously.

If it works like most other places that do these types of choice awards, I think the writers of mmorpg.com get together and pick what they think was most relevant to each topic.  I could be wrong, but that's how others normally set up the choices.

I too am very disappointed about 2nd life being in the vote.

Heh, funny thing driving home, I heard them talking about how second life works on the radio.  Anyways, second life has a really small presence on mmorpg.com, but like I said above there are millions of people playing second life....11 million from what they said on the radio.  With that kind of presence in 1 game (free too btw) mmorpg.com can't ignore it. 

I really wanted to vote "none" on some of those questions. :D

I could only answer for most anticipated. The rest  I needed none of the above.

I agree, let us whittle down from the list on the left and then open it up to the elections like you have now. I was a bit disappointed on the selections this year.

11 Million thats fine but youtube has also millions of users but that doesn't make a GAME of it. It is more a meeting platform....and I stupid guy thought the voting was ment for games ;)

Finally I wonder how this years awards will go?  Last year EVE swept a lot of catagories making people wonder if it was "rigged" or if the staff here plays favorites.
