I know AoC is an NVidia game and all. I've been on the official forums over a year and have a great system with ATI. I know for a fact that I didn't get into some beta tests of other games because they just couldn't be bothered with ATI before launch. Saying that, any idea when ATI applicants may get some "love"? The reason I ask here is because answer are easier to get here and I hate the flame fest over on the official forums.
Fear not fanbois, we are not trolls, let's take off your tin foil hat and learn what VAPORWARE is: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vaporware "Vaporware is a term used to describe a software or hardware product that is announced by a developer well in advance of release, but which then fails to emerge after having well exceeded the period of development time that was initially claimed or would normally be expected for the development cycle of a similar product." |

afaik we support both cards fine, but we have worked a lot with Nvidia to make sure that things like dx10 and whatnot were working on their hardware. Nvidia has done a lot to even send people to Norway to work with us, so we work with them closer than we ever did with ATI but we can use both cards as far as I am aware. |

Thank, Athelan. Just a quick follow up. Do I need to buy an NVidia card to get into beta? Thanks again for your time.

Originally posted by Shannia Besides testing out the game and finding bugs, breaking things, etc. I think another point of beta is to see how AoC will run on different systems, and to catch performance issues on specific hardware before the game is released, this would take quite a bit of time and money for FC to go and buy one of everything on the market that can run AoC and do extensive testing with this hardware to catch these performance issues. |

Someone said if you reapply with a new dxdiag it overwrites. But I don't know for sure.
You don't have to have an NVIDIA card to get into Beta as far as I know. I am sure we have ATI people also. |

I would imagine that they allow that type to be in beta seeing as how you would want to get some variety of cards and machines to see how they run. |

Athlean I know that you will say that you support ATI card also and blah blah blah ( sorry for rudness) , BUT , can you reply me WHY does all those yousers who have 3870 ATI cards , have poor fps from 5-30 ??? and changing video setting DOES NOT HELP ( I tried everything on low , and on high and gain at most 5-8 fps) , so don't try to suggest that .
While some 8600 ( which IS slower than ati's 3870) get's 35-50 on HIGH ( not to mention 8800gt...) .

Reading this post has me worried now, guess I'll find out tomorrow when it comes. BTW I averaged 13-15fps on average on medium setting. On high al I did was lock up. Medium settins I ran all night no problems. Goodluck Shadow1990!

Thanks for saing this 17years old thing , that is the way to judge people , that's right ! . Seriously you americans , are different , judging by the age , at 19 in college acting like 16 .... anyway this isnt the problem so :
Now seriously :
1. I'm not the only one who has this kind of problem .
2. I build pc's so , and I'm checking my on spyware/viruses every 3 days .
3. I don't have Vista sp1 sicne it's crap , and I'm using at the moment xp .
4. And I konw how to maintain my pc .
Anyway , if the problem was my hands , then I wouldn't have 70 fps in TF2 all maxed out , and about 50-60 fps in Unreal 3. ( crysis gives me 30ish-40ish on high , 1280x1024)
