So i've been trying to get into this game, currently lvl 40, i love alot of the games concepts but I still don't know alot about it. I just cant really get into it because i dont really know what to expect later. So I was just wondering if any fr00bs out there could tell me what lvl 200 has to offer if anything. |

Is fr00b still an insane grind? -- |

Perhaps you might consider asking more elaborate questions and what concerns you have. financial, stat wise, where stuff comes from?
Generally at lvl 200 you could either expect to use that toon as a sort of money maker and fund the creation and support of other toons or you could upgrade or perhaps visit the tarasque. If you are not being responded to directly, you are probably on my ignore list. |

Just what do you spend most of your time doing? are there fun dungeons to run to get the best gear available? can you pvp without getting demolished by subscribers? just kind of stand around? not even you specificly, what does the average fr00b do? |

If you are a froob and match yourself against a subscriber, all things being equal, you will most likely die.
If you are 200 chances are you are going to be a little played out as most of the late lvl dungeons you probably will have visited already. That leaves making a new toon and seeing how fun it is being a fixer or whatever. If you are not being responded to directly, you are probably on my ignore list. |

By no means an expert, but I've got a 163 froob, and am in an org with about a half dozen 190+ froobs. (BTW, find a good org ASAP if you dont have one already; makes a HUGE difference) The average froob's lvling experience will problably look something like this: Later on as you approach 170ish - 200 (or earlier, depending on the raid), you can do some of the various RK Raids (Hollow Island, Biodome, mercs, Tarasque if youre on RK2 etc.) for fun/loot, and theres always the option of going off the beaten path and hunting outdoor mobs/dynas, but thats the basic froob template. I wont lie and say it doesnt get a bit stale at times, but its fun overall. Hitting 200 is like hitting max lvl in any game really, sure expansioners can go onto 220, but almost all the chars I know who've hit 220, are playing alts now (unless they obsess over little stuff like getting all the best phats/getting AI30 etc) PVP, later on, forget it. Before TL4 (level 100) and especially before lvl 50-60 you stand a chance, since the gear/perk/stat advantage expansioners have isn't too overwhelming yet, but after that, outside of maybe traders/fixers, survivability rapidly declines until it hits near-zero somewhere around 125-150. A 175 froob, for example,(which in Funom's infinite wisdom is in pvp range of 220's) is roadkill, plain and simple. So yeah, when you hit high/max froob lvls, if youre not already on the verge of buying the expansions, go raiding, hunt dynas, have fun, SAVE UP CASH ;) enjoy being the master of almost all things RK, and having acheived high lvls with no expanion easymode shortcuts, and then roll an alt. Theres 11 or so professions available to froobs with wildly different playstyles, with some that can be played differently depending on weapon choice, so its almost certain youll have fun lvling more than one toon. |
