SOE have messed up just about every MMO they have touched.  EQ2 was nowhere near as successful as the origional, and it still has serious problems.  Vanguard never took off at all.  I don't even have to talk about SWG.

SOE are only interested in milking money from MMOs for a while then move onto the next.  They do not care about the game or it's players at all.

 

 

Speak for yourself please.  I'm an (pre-NGE) SWG Vet going all the way back to Beta Phase 1... and I already have the pre-order for PotBS on my desk.  I went out and got it yesterday.  (Pre-order through gamestop.... I don't actually have the box yet as they aren't due out till sometime next week, the 13th I believe)

SOE has only really messed up once:  SWG... yeah in EQ they did some silliness early on but they righted that ship for a long time many many years ago... right around when DAOC came out actually.  Other than that the only major fumble they've had was SWG and it wasn't entirely their fault, Lucasarts had a LOT to do with the many fiasco's with SWG.    Remember:  Lucas was in charge of direction of the game.  SOE were the implementors.  They both share blame equally there.  FLS is running the entire show regarding POTBS.  All SOE is doing is marketting and billing...whoop-de-do.

Also, I was in the vanguard beta.  Sigil screwed the pooch BIGTIME on it.  I don't play vanguard, don't play any SOE games currently in fact, but I did play in the beta.  And from everything I've heard from people still playing it SOE has done nothing but good for the game.

But hey, if you want to skip on the best game to come out in YEARS just to spite SOE?  Go for it.... PotBS is one I fully intend to play and enjoy... frankly the community will be better off without the haters anyway.

you obviously have no idea what are you talking about , after you saying that Eq2 still has a serious problems i realised , that you are just a SOE hater so piss off and go trolling somewhere else ... EQ2 is the most polished game out there and with last expansion ROK ,EQ2 is a rare gem
