I have a lvl 15 Mage on Scania and I like the game, but the behavior on this server is horrible.

Tons of people spamming I love you to other people, high lvls clearing out maps with nothing but snails in them and spamming "Mew Noob" to all the low lvls there trying to lvl up, people getting mass amounts of people to spam tells to one person to make them lag, and tons of KSers that are just plain rude about it.

Is that just the way most people on all the servers behave or is it just a Scania thing?

I'm probably too old to be enjoying Maple Story, but it's free and I can break off if I need to take care of the baby.

Maplestory has a pretty immature community. I played until I had a level 35 Cleric and got sick of the community. Free-to-Play will always be that way. There needs to be some sort of barrier to entry to keep the community clean.

Well, I do beleive you're right about the iloveyou phrases to the pets is quite annoying, if I had a pet, I would also like to repeat that over and over to it. 

Now, as far as the server question goes, I beleive that there is different people's actions on different servers.  If I remember right, Scania seems to be more business and straight forward.  Bera, however, my favorite, tends to have more of the 'fun' people.  Another thing, Bera's mages apparently are not AS bad as the ones you describe....

Maplestory is a fun game, but way too much grinding. It is the first game EVER that I have thought that the community is worse than runescapes. I quit for that reason.......................community is TERRIBLE...on every server

I'll admit, the community isn't all that great, but you have to think about the age groups you're dealing with (avg. age group IMO); between 12-22 but the majority is between 13-17 (once again, IMO).  So you're going to get a lot of rude players on all servers, that's just how it is, although not saying that ALL 13-17 year olds are rude and immature. 

The behavior you described about Scania is the same as Windia.

I used to play in Bellocan, but I quit that server after many people would piss me off by randomly defaming me, ksing me, etc.

I then joined Windia because some of my real life friends were playing on that world, I did see an improvement in the server behavior for about a month, but then I started noticing it was starting to become close to Bellocan. Non-stop smegas about stuff that I don't care about and lots of ksers (which are in every server).

So I'm pretty sure that every server in Maple Global are the same, although Scania & Bera could be worse because of the larger population.

I started a new character because I wanted to play as a guy, and all I hear is people misusing the word "n00b".  I thought a n00b was a stupid new person who doesn't read the rules and is annoying.  I thought a newb was a new person, which is what my character is.  Yes, it seems like maplestory is full of pre-teens with low self-esteem, but I've made some cool friends, and I don't let the retards ruin my game experience.  I enjoy playing the game, it's my first mmorpg, and it won't be my last.  I hate when I try to join pq's and there's higher levels going, "don't let the n00bs join!"

well scania is a bit wierd  first server a lot pros and wannabes there try moving to a newer server

It really depends on the person you run into. If you run into the right people you will find exellent behavior. Other people are well horrible.

It's not too hard to just keep to yourself. Often times, the idiots you speak of are either new, or generally stupid. This can be remedied by changing channels or going someplace else.

Immaturity is in every MMORPG. The only true way to prevent it is to ban people specifically for being idiots, and unfortunately, that's not something that will happen anytime soon. Until then, just contribute to the maturity level by not being "retarded".

Is that so? I'm playin Maple Story Europe and... only once met guy, who deserved -1 fame, cause he was killing monsters i was fighting with.
I never met any1 calling me n00b or so (nevermind i've never behaved like one). Moreover i met ppl givin me quest items (like bubbling's huge bubbles) for free and demandin to do the same, when i'll be able to.
Only parting sucks - few ppl wannts to party (mybe bcs it's not so good, like in Trickster, where u have 1,5 to 3,5 exp boosts).
I met some ppl killing all monsters on map, but usually they're leaving drops, so when they go to piss of someone else, on other map u can gather all these items and mesos - so i'm not complainin bout it.

This game is not worth spending any more time from me i got a lvl 48 Cleric on Windia and its literally impossible to lvl up by training..... there is no point to make it so hard to lvl... either increase the amount of exp monsters give or lower the req. amount to lvl its insane getting 100 exp per kill against monsters like 10 lvls higher than me and i have to get half a million exp to lvl? wtf is up with that man.

So why not try party exping? I dunno what it is, but ppl say that u lvlup pretty fast! ^^'

Yeah, maplestory has one of the worst communities I've ever seen in an online game ever

it gets less stupid the higher level you go, but don't be fooled, the high levels have their good fill of idiotic players.
