See, isn't it so much better to be positive about a game that you like and play, than to constantly berate and look for negativity for a game you don't play? There may just be hope for you afterall. Correct...because the original data was pulled from Turbines site...there is actually NO mention of it at all..as it was also mentioned in many interviews and 2 stratics chats I believe...so, I had to go for some archived data... That seems disconcerting that a feature that was hyped up during the Closed Beta phase (which I was a member of) is now lost... And I am sorry that you could not find a use for the EQ2 system of character tracking...as it allows me to plan my strategies for the next time I login...like now...and review other character stats to check out various builds... Ok...so off to play...Gotta run... CYA

Ok...so off to play...Gotta run... CYA Yup, that's the nature of MMO's. Show me even one MMO that has included everything that was ever "hyped". Not sure if that rises to a "promise" though. To me a feature that is "promised" is something that would be typed in bold print on the cover of the box... only to realize that it in fact did not make it to release. I can think of a couple MMO's that did that one. I wasn't part of LoTRo's closed Beta... I had applied, but just never got in. I did get in the first day of the Open Beta, and have been here ever since. Since I've been in, I don't recall any mention of what you were talking about, so it must have been "cut" before I came along. Either way, I've been pretty impressed with the interaction that Turbine and the developers have had with the player-base. Better than what I remember from Verant/SoE and Beta-Testing with the early EQ expansions. Better than what I remember from Beta-Testing from SoE with SWG. Anyway... it's not really important now; as you've found a happy home with EQ2 and I and my friends are having fun here in LoTRo. Isn't that the important part? Well, at least for me it is anyway. If we stop having fun in LoTRo, we'll move onto another MMO. You won't see a good-bye post from me though... in fact, you'll know when I've stopped playing... because I won't be posting here anymore.

I would think maybe not) With Turbines new content patches promised every 2 months expect this to be a common phenomenon..... You can't buy houses and you can't even trade with other people with the trial. I'm playing the trial right now. The graphics are amazing. They blow away WoW graphics and all the other MMO's if you ask me. And the gameplay isn't that bad. It's actually a fun MMO. Only thing I don't like about it is the chat interface. I'm used to playing city of villains where people chat all the time. Chatting is virtually non-existant in LoTR.
