Hrmmm I'm having a hard time taking this question seriously. You can have both abilities but, it's not going to increase your flight speed. I usually double slot flight speed and at most you could triple slot it if you wanna be super crazy fast. If you use the black market any you'd be able to find set bonus flight speed items too which will give you other bonuses as well as the flight speed. I'm not a huge fan of super speed - it's more economical that the other travel powers but, not more conveniant. This is due to most people (including myself) taking hasten - it's a no brainer - take hasten at some point. So you only have to spend 1 more power on travel for ss as to where if you go any other - you still need hasten but, you have to spend 2 more slots on travel at least.
But, if you are gonna blow some powers - you could combine SS and SJ, those 2 work well together.
My fav is teleport - hard to control at first but, once you get the hang of it - very functional and useful. |

Teleport is just way too endurance-heavy. Resting to recover endurance at the door to every mission i get to is really annoying. TP is also not very user-friendly. It's the most difficult travel power to master, and being so endurance heavy, it just isn't worth it. On the plus side, it is the fastest travel power, and it has very nice pre-requisites in the pool. It's also a great concept power. But overall, Super Jump, Flight, and even Super Speed will give you more bang for your buck. Just my two cents |

I totally agree. I only have teleportation on my stone/stone brute because it's really the only option with the movement penalties. I have the power mapped to the button right above my forward move button so it's just a single tap of a key and push of a mouse button to go, but it's still a pain in the rear compared to flying and super jump. I still haven't gotten around to making a super speed character, mainly because I just can't get myself to give up vertical movement. The stealth in super speed would definitely be nice for squishy characters when it comes to mission blitzing, though. On the whole, I have to say I like flight the best. It's not too hard to max the speed, and it's not bad at all with just a single enhancement in Fly and Swift. Since I mostly play melee characters and masterminds, Air Superiority is a darned fine power for those melees, and Hover can be quite nice for controlling fights out of melee range for my MMs.

True teleport is harder to master that's for sure - as far as endurance - you have to slot it just like anything else. A double slot of endurance reduction will do just fine actually. Especially if you plan on are already have the fitness pool with endurance. |

superspeed will not make you fly fast, but you can run on ground and water hopping really quick |

If you want to combine travel powers take Teleport/Fly or Hover if you want to save a power choice. or Super Speed/Super Jump FTW!! |

Teleport and Hover are a great combination. When I can find room, I always try to get Hover in there for my Stone Armor characters. It's awfully nice not having to worry about falling out of the sky. When your reaction time is as poor as mine, the couple of seconds you have before your teleport "stasis" ends are rarely enough to target a selectable, specific location in the area you want to reach, and Hover gives you all the time in the world. Going all the way to Fly seems excessive, though. As much as I love Fly, it wouldn't be adding very much in terms of getting around. Would it be easier? Sure, a bit, but not enough to lose a power from your primary or secondary sets. With Hover and Teleport, you're basically flying already, just in shorter, quicker bursts. |

To increase flight speed you can take the quickness power from the fitness powers pool and slot it with flight speed, that will enhance your flight experience.
