after waiting such a  long time i don't care if i have to wait a bit longer  they are working hard and im sure that they will try to fix that bug as soon as possible

A major bug *laughs*.  This is an import, there shouldn't be any major bugs ((except translating issues)).  They are giving excuses.

wow a WoW rip off webpage.. anyway this game is bad, i played the chi version with english patch.. the game play simply turns u off.. i dont know y ppl are waiting so eager for this game.. u will uninstall this game before 30min of gameplay trust me

A comparison to WoW and calling the game crap... you're just looking to start a fight, aren't you?

You can't compare this game to WoW ass-munch. This is a free to download, free to play game. If you want WoW, go  P2P. Some of us don't like WoW and some of us are pretty stoked at the quality of PW without being P2P. Go back  to  WoW and stay there.

well, i dont like wow too but, he just said that their webpage looks like the WoW one, he didn't compare the games

Well said!  Saying that I lose my mind every time some idiot compares each and every MMO to WoW would be a serious understatement.  Yep, Apples suck.. you know why?  Because they aren't Oranges!!  Damn Apples, they suck!!

I was in the closed beta, and I liked this game.  The graphics are stunning (not cartoony, like some "other" game I know), and it's a free game that actually supports WASD movement.  My character could fly, right off the bat, level 1, which I thought was really cool.  The landscape was OPEN, and I mean, OPEN.  No fake barriers, zoning every 10 steps, etc.  Lots to do, pets, crafting, quests, fighting, collecting, etc.

Do I think this is the best MMO ever?  Of course not.  Do I want to play it now and am I sick of the delays? Hell yes.

I wonder if this mysterious "bug" was present in the closed beta.  If it was, I didn't see it.  Just the usual horrible <insert Asian language here> to English translation that always annoys me, badly, and is prevalent in just about every Asian-based MMO I've seen.  Don't they have bi-lingual people over "there" they could pay a small sum of money, to proof-read the content in these games?  Jeez.  Anyway, that's a blog for another time.  BTW, I HATE the word "blog".

Anyway, enough delays... bring on the game.

Funny, I ran the launcher, like I do every day or so, and noticed some text changes.  They changed the word "closed" to "open".  Wow.  It looks like there's another server now, besides Oracle.  Of course neither are up now.  Zzzzz.

I should write up my anti-Wow thread sometime.  Got so much to say.  People think the game is so perfect, no pun intented.  Well, it's far from it.  Makes me wonder why these people would even think about posting in the Perfect World forum then...and not *playing* Wow.  Strange, isn't it?

Which would be the reason I have what I do in my sig...

Moving along, I give a guess at early-mid November for the open beta to start. Not quite sure to be honest...

Though I do guess early Nov. more then mid.

They said they were going to test the latest patch from China on the 29th, which is when they announced finding the bug, so it's probably an issue with that patch...

You will only see one for now because the client can't  update.

While on the site best to check official forums too for info on release of O.B. - probably expect it in a few days time.

Spoken by someone who has NO clue as to what is involved in making multi-lingual software systems work in a robust and smooth fashion.  And, yes I do know.  Our product is distributed in : English, French, German, Italian, Simplified Chinese, Japanese, and Spanish.  It is non-trivial.  Our software is part of a mult-million dollar medical treatment system.

I can't wait until it's REALLY ready.  It would be nice though if they can give us a rough estimate about when it might be ready
