I do not buy, or play, games based on their 'potential'.  I buy or play them based upon the gameplay I get at time of purchase.  If more is added later, then great.  But if what is available *at the time of purchase* is not worth the money I must pay then I do not buy it.  Period.  It's a waste of time and money to do so.  And I sure as heck am not going to sink a monthly fee on 'potential'.

No... if TR adds features to the game that make it worth paying for 'some time in the future'?  Then I'll reassess my opinion of it at that time and possibly start playing it then.  But as of *now* the game isn't worth paying for, in my opinion.  Yours may differ.  I highly recommend ANYONE considering the game to try the open beta and form their own opinion.  Give it a good solid couple of weeks to see if you feel it's worth paying for.  After that time, if you do... then buy it... if not... then don't.  Don't take my, or anyone else's word on whether YOU will want to buy.  Form your own opinion.

You dont play MMO much do you? LOL! Just kiding! I agree with you. But if the game is at least bareable I wiil try it if not...well I will try another (But not WOW). But dont forget thats is almost impossible to build a MMO without Bugs and that everything doesnt works acording to plan! And dont forget the new things that they keep adding in a MMO! A MMO when is released is completely different after 2 or 3 years! What Im saying about potential is true! It would be a shame if this great idea doesnt work and all the sci-fi fans have to endure the fantasy fans talking about Wrahammer Online and WOW and we are stuck with no MMO! My brother play WOW almost since the begining and OH BOY! That shit that he told about things go wrong!....So we have to wait and see, and I dont expect to TR to be a a perfect and polished game in the begining, its just not possible.

MMM... I'd say I play MMO's more than most people at this site :)  And have probably been playing MMO's longer than most people at this site have been able to use a computer :)

I did try it out :)  I found it lacking key elements that an MMO needs in order to justify a monthly fee.  Once those elements are added, as I said, I will reassess my opinion.  But at this late stage it will not have those elements at release, and may never given their vision for the game.  Which is fine... but they will have a hard time selling this with a $15/month fee when it's lacking such important aspects to the gameplay (in my opinion).

Well I have to update my opinion on this game, after two weeks of playing it got boring and I quit. I gave it a chance but it does not have a lasting appeal and I am not willing to pay for it.

Really nothing new here, pretty generic.

nice review... its fun to see someone who enjoys the game but comes to realize everyone elses point of view later on...

ill say it like this. the game starts out fun.. but only for a FEW will it still be bun after say a month or two. Unless it kan pick alot up from PlanetSide or NeoCron vehiclesor crafting system.

I still say after playing beta for awhile, this is no game you'll want to give your money too and not feel dum about it later. u kan choose to listen or not.. its not my money, just a fair warning... now after 6 months. i dont know.. might be worth it then, but as of now. hell no 2x .15 a month? its free games u kan play that u'll enjoy more or NC is 9 a month and 10x funner.. so is PS
