Guild Wars Bonus Mission Pack design lead Colin Johanson answers questions about this new four mission collection that allows characters to experience historic events from each Guild Wars game and expansion.

1. What is the Guild Wars Bonus Mission Pack? How many levels does it include? How does it fit within the Guild Wars universe?

The Bonus Mission Pack is a four mission collection we're giving away as a thank you to players who've spent at least $29 (€26/£17) or purchased Guild Wars: Eye of the North during our in-game store and PlayNC promotion (note: this promotion ends October 31, 2007). In it, players relive four great moments in Guild Wars history by playing iconic characters during the events that turned them into legends.

The mission pack provides four solo "story" missions. Each story is tied to one of our Guild Wars games. The original Guild Wars story tells the tale of how Saul D'Alessio and the White Mantle drove the invading Charr army from Kryta with the help of their unseen gods, the Mursaat. In the Guild Wars Factions story, we see a young Togo fight betrayal to bring an end to the Tengu Wars. The Guild Wars Nightfall adventure puts the player in the role of Turai Ossa at the Battle of Jahai, where the leaders of the two greatest armies in Elonian history squared off in a battle to the death. Lastly, players will experience Gwen's escape from her Charr captors and initiate her first meeting with the Ebon Vanguard from Guild Wars: Eye of the North.

  Nice to hear a few more details about the upcoming BMP for GW, but now I have a concern about it.

  Will the BMP require for a player to have all 3 campaigns to access all of the BMP content???  Or will a player with just 1 campaign still be able to enjoy full access to the BMP???

  I like the BMP depicting certain critical storyline plots during the 3 eras of GW:  Prophecies, Factions, Nightfall, & 1 leading into GW2, but on the GW help support site not much information seems to be there & I must've missed it in this article if it was mentioned.

  Thanks to anyone that can clarify this question.  I'm sure not every GW player interested in this BMP will have all 3 campaigns so this might help.

People that buy 1 addon on the site of NC gets the bonus. I bought all 3 parrts for a totale of 100 euro and ya think we get the bonus ? It just bothers me that they say it like " you invested in GW now you get a reward"

  Sorry Haradeas, they not allowing it to be retroactive is a bit rotten.  I guess them stating that you don't have to spend a purchase amount all at once is suppose to make-up for it a bit.  Still would burn if you had bought from their official store previously though.

  I do think that eventually there should be a compilation package for all of GW1 at a later date.

  Now I will have to try to get back into the habit of playing GW on a regular basis.  I bet the economy is SO inflated now too :-(

I've got all four boxes that I bought retail.  I simply prefer hard copies of everything I buy.  I've been a faithful customer, yet I'm left in the cold on this.  It's poor form on Arena.net's part.  They really need to look at anyone who has all the games/xpacs on an account and just let them have it.
