I know it very premature to say at this time, but did they give a release day for this game? I have checked other forums, but still not a valid answer. Alot of people been stating summer time of 2008. And other say the beginning of 2008 which would lead me to believe January 2008 - April 2008? I am just very curious especially with all these new mmorpgs coming out soon. Thanks! |

are you being serious right now?  because you know... warhammer plays and looks NOTHING like WoW. check your facts before you start making things up.as far as the release date goes, they're looking at Q1 2008 but I wouldn't expect anything until late april at the earliest. best kill some time with AoC or DAoC until then if you want fantasy PvP. |

I am going to say -IMO- this is the most anticipated game since Star Wars Galaxies, World of Warcraft was pretty much a big surprise for everyone as people migrated from their formal MMO to WoW by word of mouth. I remember getting crucified by people saying, why are you playing that kiddie game. But looks where WoW is now. I left WoW almost 6 months ago and dont think I will be going back anytime soon especially with all this new mmo's on the horizon, my WoW days may be numbered unless the other MMO's fail. (but never say never when it comes to that game) I hope Warhammer wont let us down, but I would definetly put money on this one being a success anyways. If they use ideas from its counterpart of DAoC, we sould have a winner. Especially a game with Sieges. Yeah thats the good stuff!

Imo ppl shouldnt trust anyone's "review"  the only way to know is to try it yourself, we have no idea where this guy comes from? what games did you play, what aspects of those games did you like, what's your graphics preference, are you into pvp/pve/socializing/whatever... you just dont know who is "reviewing" and what their standpoint is. (games and movie reviewers alike, there no one guy out there who makes me go "wow this guy likes the exact same movies/games I like, I'll take his word for it from here on)If you dont wanna waste cash in release, wait for a trial. What you DONT wanna do is take some random guys word for it, you wanna try it first hand trust me. No offence to OP ofc  |

I'm sorry to disagree with you on that point, EA are just getting us the game and handling the billing, all i can say is as long as the game keeps goin teh way it is, it will be a very good mmo, yes i went to games day....was there with the games workshop people but i still played it just cos well...why not? and i can tell you even tho i only got bout 5mins on it well nice, the models are what i was looking at more than anything else but as far as us fans of the IP looks nice, and (yes i used to play wow) BETTER than WoW... nuff said doc |

Well said! Not tot change the subject at hand. I still play Starsiege Tribes till this day (to me this game is still lots of fun) however alot of people now would think I am crazy.
