The company went on to begin building their next big thing, an MMO that would break new ground and create the kind of excitement and buzz that games like Diablo II did for them back at their former company. Triforge isn't Triforge anymore, Triforge is now ArenaNet, but the game is well into development and is due out later this year. http://pc.ign.com/articles/512/512115p1.html I don't think distributers and publishers should factor into whether a game is Korean. |

Originally posted by DeaconX No no, lower. A lot of people are needed to make the game, you just listed the higher ups. Music is not Korean. But modelling, animation etc... are all korean made. Character models in GW Looks exactly like SUN, ZeRA, AION etc... Coincidence? No it's all korean made. About Bioware, hum 2009 is going to be pushed back to 2010 or 2011. You know how it works... |

This is the type of discussion that happens when people decide to label games with race. |

That doesn't sound very japanese, now does it? Falcom used cheap Korean labor, same as Nike uses cheap chinese labor and same. Yes some of the cast of GW where Occidentals, but the rest where Koreans. That's where Guild Wars got it's look-alike look from many other Korean MMO's. Would you say a movie who's producer and director are american but the whole acting cast is japanese to be american or japanese? I'd say it is a japanese movie. |

Wow, and it was right on the homepage. Also AOC and WAR seem more like "Asian grinders" then Aion and GW2. If you were keeping up to date with development both are stated to release lacking alot of the extra features and you said GoH looked good and that was pure grind through and through (which is why it was put on "hold"). You obviously don't know how to pick them. Guild Wars has always been known to be mainly story and pvp driven content. What makes you think GW2 will be any different? The only Grind found in GW was from item collecting and that was optional since you could get the best armor and items with little to no grind. If anything you could argue that deep PvE gameplay is what GW lacks. |

No one wants your unoriginal grinders that have been done over 9000 times. And to answer that other guys question, no Nike isn't chinese but it's production is chinese obviously. |

Originally posted by Inferum Wow you ask a question yet you seem to know the answer you wanted to hear, so why ask the question in the first place? I hope you enjoy AoC and WAR, because they are both exactly like every other MMO on the market now. Though if you want to keep telling yourself they'll be different then go right ahead. Also you talk alot but can't seem to show proof of your claim. |

So what was the point of the thread? It's funny how you asked people to help you with your list, yet bash them after they post. What are you 6. Only reason im reading this ridiculous post is because im bored. And apparently so is the op, since he can't manage to know where games come from. Arena.net is an american based company. If you can't see that then you need to go back to geography. I dont see how you read seattle based company, and get its an asian game. Just because the have NCsoft teams working with them does NOT make them korean based game. Thats like saying 3 mexicans work at taco bell, so it must be real mexican food. Seriously though, this thread should just stop. Apparently the op made a thread to bash you once you posted a game, so whats the point of helping him. If you cant figure out a good game then go play atari and start all over. Game, set, point!

Originally posted by Inferum Umm, yes, yes they are. Just like the Japanese, Chinese, Mongolian, etc. Asia isn't a race, it's a continent. If I were to say that Scottish people and English people were the same, I'd get a Glascowvian Kiss (not good). |
