Hello,

I know there is a lot of these out there but I feel that I need some help finding that "game for me"

I started playing runescape 4 years ago and played it for about a year and a half i enjoyed it becuase i could always chance what i wanted to be (Melee,Range,Mage)and i also liked the "castle wars" PvP

Then i went on to WoW and played that for 2 years i enoyed it but it seems that when i reach the level cap it came out with an expantion and now there is a new expantion.  I never got to enoy the end game of WoW becuase of the expantions and leveling/grinding wasnt fun much

Im looking for a game like both of these games...

iv tryed Eve and im more of a wow interface type of person not ships and space

I like pvp and partying up for quest and end game

Im waiting for WAR or maybe W.E.L.L. online but i want to hear what everyone has to say

well WOW is like the best mmo out ther EQ2s not bad but the armor system sucks all armor is reltivly the same just dif color dont play LOTRO because its boring for just straight up fun COH/COV is great not really any end game but otherwise fun . and if you looking forward to WAR thers DAOC witch is made by the same guys never played it but hear its great and FF11 was always fun for me

EQ2 fair COH fun DAOC heard its good FF11 fun

You would likely enjoy Everquest 2, Lord of the Rings Online, and possibly Final Fantasy XI. 

Don't just take somone elses word for it, there are free trials for a reason. Be an individual, and try a few out for yourself, instead of listening to a bunch of fanbois flaming each other back and forth about which game is better. Cause I can almost guarantee that will happen. Steer clear of the mostly biased answers you'll probably get from this thread, and do some test driving. Nothing sucks worse than someone telling you a game is great, splurging for the title, and then booting it up only to find you hate it. One man's trash may be another man's treasure, and vice versa. But, if you do insist on hearing other's opinions, than take them lightly, because after all, it is someones opinion.

Take a look at the reviews and the list of games that are here at MMORPG, the games are mostly up there on merit. Try not to be bias in any forms, whether its the looks of the games or from what people have said about them. I'm not blowing this games trumpet, but it's been six years since I first started playing Ultima online, in that time i've come and gone, trying all the latest or the best rated in that time only to find myself returning like a boomerang.

In my time of playing MMO's however, there is one thing that I think is vital, and that is having friends to game with in whatever game it is, it could be the lowest ranked game of all time, but if you have some great friends playing alongside you, then it will be the best MMO ever no matter what!!!

You're not alone. Seems like lots of us are looking for a fun MMO. I agree with Joey. Try out some games listed with high ratings on this site. Many of them have free trials. If nothing else it will help pass the time until a good MMO comes along you like  

I , too, am looking for a new game.  WoW has been the poison of choice for a while now.  I come from EQ roots. 

I am looking for a game that offers challenge.  One that is NOT easy.  One that is NOT solo friendly.  A MMO that actually wants to be MULTIPLAYER.  A MMO that wants to be MASSIVE.  I want a MMO like EQ before SoE got thier greedy arse hands on it.  A game as fit and finished as WoW is.  A game with great crafting like Ryzom.  A game with well balanced PvP like DAOC.  A game with Epic Quests to be done with Epic Friends!  I want too much...

Well if you could live without good pvp for awhile i would definently play Trickster Online

for now theyre working on the pvp to make it better so youll have to wait but other than that its good

believe me ive played all of the above games mentioned including way more and this game is definently a good one
