ok so i just came across this new mmo that i think if it turns out right will be awesome it is a horror based mmo which takes place in a destroyed city where the dead walk u will get the ability to walk amongst the dead and much more check it out at http://www.exanimusthegame.com/

I wonder.. do you think that the races will balance out well, or will we have a metric ton or zombies (like zomg! I am teh horde!)? Hm.. makes you think, would an excess of zombies be appropriate? I wonder if we'll end up with specialized zombies like something out of RE or House of the Dead.. (ahh crap! They brought the licker!) |

I think it’s a really cool idea, and a great way for a game to break away from the numerous fantasy and sci-fi MMO, but I think right now, it’s all in theory and they have nothing to show and won’t for a while… So yes, it may be cool, it’s nothing right now… ------------------------------------ |

Replacing snakes and wolves from a korean grinder will not make it an action packed horror adventure, FPS or hack and slash are better suited for these types of games. |

Not my cup of tea because of the horror base setting; however, I must say it is unlike anything I've seen in current MMOs. It will be interesting to see how this one plays out. |

I think it would be kind of cool if, on the death servers, they made you become undead, if you die. Would add a nice touch, to those willing to risk it. |

The game is not quite new, although they seem to have a new site. I've been half following the game for years and they must have come along away from when I last visited the site. It looks interesting, but only time will tell. |

I've been hoping for a really good Perma Death mmorpg, this could be the one, the horror setting really appeals to me, i like being a ragged band of survivors than knights in shining armor. hope this one pulls through "The new age is upon us, yet the past refuses to rest in its shallow grave." |

Well, I would like to thank some one for the report. Evidently, posting about a vapor game, with zero potential with a few colorful metaphors is not allowed. So, I will paraphrase. In short, this game is vapor at best, even boring at best, .05 generation at worst. The listed comments above are pointless and only meant to raise interest in a borked, pointless, and boring project. So, yeah, my post will be on the front page for 1.2 seconds. Since I have my 1.2 seconds. There are games out there, that don't suck, and that don't need to rely on 1780's graphics, er 1980's graphics to achieve something worthy of your time. See Ryzom, Jumpgate, EvE, Anarchy Online, Second Life, etc. Stop settling for third best and promises taken away or never revealed. There are a *few* games out there that actually deliver. If 2D contentless is your goal, this might DHL you. Otherwise look elsewhere. I have no idea where they think this could measure up, even after 3 yrs of dev for 2D. And for those upping their post count? Count me plus one... Played (more than a month): SWG, Second Life, Tabula Rasa, Lineage 2, Everquest 2, EvE, MxO, Ryzom. Tried: WoW, Shadowbane, Anarchy Online, Everquest, WWII Online, Planetside Beta: Lotro, Tabula Rasa, WAR. |

I wonder why noone started working yet on Cthulhu Mythos MMORPG based on Lovecraft. That would be a real horror and license is cheaper than water. REALITY CHECK |
