Was wondering how it works. If you preorder the game do you have to wait for it to ship to be able to play it? Or is there some way to purchase the game online and just download the client.
Thanks |

Maybe if I'm going to have my Xfire profile up, I should start using Xfire... |

I have, but my system is a little outdated. I've preordered the collectors edition, but I did it at GameStop so its not like I cant put the money towards a different game if I feel the performance isnt acceptable.
I have mixed feelings about the game, but the pros are a bit higher than the cons. Family man first, Gamer second! ArmySurplus makes no apologies if someone other than him has already posted his reply in part or otherwise. He can’t be expected to read every single post on a thread and makes no promise to do so. If you posted a similar reply before him you undoubtedly stole his thoughts and used them without his written authorization. Please return to your post and edit it so that his post is the first to state whatever the hell he was thinking at the time. Thank you! |

If you want to play Tabula Rasa you should have a good pc and a good internet connection because later its all about PvP. And a bad connection sucks ultimatley there. The graphic is nice for a Mmorpg, and the fighting skills are good but the balance is a bit difficult if you start and try to max all out... If someone has a better pc/ connection post your opinion.
p.s Tabula Rasa should come with 14.95 $/month charges, and that is a bit too expansive for me. Because my pc is too slow and so i had not so much fun with the preorder. If someone should by the preorder. He should download the client from the homepage, else you must patch up to 8-12h..... ;( |

Nope. I figure if a want a single player sci-fi game, it will be better to wait until 11/20 and get Mass Effect. My personal opinion is that Mass Effect is what TR should have been. Yes, I know that Mass Effect not a MMO but TR sure the heck does not feel like a MMO from what I have played in Beta. I am also looking at Hellgate London for online play instead of TR. |

I pre-ordered through PlayNC. They sent me an email with the client D/L link in it. I figure from the time I pressed the "Order" button at the PlayNC store till I was ingame was about 3 hours. Most of that time was spent D/Ling the client (around 3GB, IIRC). |

Preordered via the retail box. Really glad I did, it saved me $39.99 by allowing me to test drive it. |

I didn't like the game till I got into the beta. Since then I've preordered. Unlike the general concensis online here I like the game. I think it is great for people with a limited time to play looking for something to do for 1-3 hours where they just want to have fun killing some stuff.

I had a pre-order, played the beta, then canceled the pre-order... Don't be terrorized! You're more likely to die of a car accident, drowning, fire, or murder! More people die every year from prescription drugs than terrorism LOL! |

Yup. $4.99 spent and saved myself the cost I would have wasted on the retail box. Must say I'm really enjoying this new trend of paying 5 bucks to test. Gone are the days of when I blew money on crap like Horizons just to play a couple hours and uninstall. |

I had but I've since pulled my pre-order and asked EB to put it towards Mass Effect, there's just no point in playing TR at release. Not just because it's a bad game (which it is) and not just because it lacks any meaningful content (which it does) AND not even because it's a complete bore to experience... Mostly it's because the writing is on the wall for this one already, it's going the way of Auto Assault and unless there is a drastic retraction of the release date and a huge amount of work put into the game again, there's not a lot anyone can do about it. Give it 30 to 45 days and this one will be in the bargain bin right next to Vanguard and MxO. Might be worth it at a $8 or $10 price point to play for the free 30 days until a few of the big games coming up release, otherwise it's a pass with a capital P. |
