Maybe gotten rid of T2 bpos, the need to gatecamp, the necessity to grind horrible npcs/missions to cover pvp costs.... I probably can guess the answer, but I thought I'd ask anyway since I like the idea and feel of the game....just not some of its idiosyncrasies. |

T2 BPOs are no longer distributed, all new T2 items must come through invention and all the prices of the very expensive T2 has crashed, cerberus is now affordable at 80mil.
gate camps are here to stay as they are a way of securing an area. the sovereinty rules and POS warfare has been made more interesting.
how you get your iskies is up to you, lvl4s with salvage easily make 15-25mil an hour. salvage has made a big difference in earnings. if you set up research agents, your research points can be sold for datacores, needed for invention, these you can sell, and you can resonably easily get 10mil a day without logging in. |

I really like my Avatar Picture :) |
The T2 BPO lottery no longer exists.
Gatecamps still exist as its a amjour way of denying terratory to eneries etc. |

Well, you gotta earn your ISK somehow, either by mining, killing NPC rats, running missions, hauling or some other repetitive task. Not sure any game has come up with an answer for that.... but most people don't have a problem making ISK, up in the Drone regions I can easily make 100 m ISK with a few hours of work ratting drones for minerals and reprocessing/selling them...and I suck at this game. Gate camps are part of EVE..... its up to the player to learn how to avoid them, break through them... or die in them. As mentioned, they are part of the strategy to control access to various areas of space..... I'd hate to see them removed from the game for some reason... |

That's cool they got rid of the T2 bpo lottery. That was one of the things I really hated. Maybe I should try this game again. |

God Bless... |
i personaly nvr thought that the game was boring. The only thing i can say is give it anouther shot and go in expecting to sit on a gate for hours. Reprogram your clone to like these sort of things and your all set! |

For me, I hate PVP and thus will never really enjoy Eve. I love the setting, the graphics, the options, the ships, the weapons, skills, trading, etc...it is a great game with the exception that one can lose everything at one fickle twist of fate and timing. I get that in real life and so do not enjoy it in my game. They ever create an Eve server that has no PVP and is all exploration, skill build and trade and I am so there. I may be among the minority in this, but I am at peace with that. |

Originally posted by JadedDragon As mentioned many times before, a PvE server would simply not work. Due to the lack of PvP, the economy would be non-existent. Everything would either be dirt cheap because nobody ever lost anything. The market would be flooded with EVERYTHING.. or nothing, because there would be no profit to be made. The market in EVE is one of the largest parts of it, considering they've hired an actual economist for the game to study the market. You would be left with barely anything resembling a game. |

Originally posted by Loben TBH I've always found EVE "fun" Even as a 2 hour old pilot of a shiny noobship 30 minutes reading would have answered this question for you though so I doubt this was an honest question but I'll answer it anyway: Gate camping will never go away, it's a fact of life. However, that being said, with the advent of "Warp-to-zero" in low sec gate camps are far less frequent and much easier to avoid. In 0.0 they are still very much a part of life as they are the best means of denying enemies access to your space. Suck it up and deal with it. Think of it as a border checkpoint. If you have a passport (blue status) you get to go through. If you don't? Well... we're kinda hard on those who don't have passports here in EVE, you get to go home in your pod (if you're lucky.... if not... you get to take the express back to your clone vat). T2 Lottery no longer exists and hasn't for months. T2 BPC's are created through invention using T1 BPC's. The better the BPC the better the T2 BPC you make. It's not a 100% success rate but it's good enough that the prices on just about every T2 item and ship have come down significantly except for the usual FOTM ships (which do vary). Oh.. and you can score a cerb now for right around 40-50 mil, not 80.
