I was browsing through SWG forums and saw this post about 51 Month reward

whoah 51 months, thats what i call loyal customer or should i say stubborn

im a launch day vet but i no longer sub in the game as it proved to be pointless to me. but some of the stuff i got from vet rewards allowed me to deck out my large tat house pretty nicely. i think i got all the data terminals now in one of my rooms with my emporer throne chair :P and 2 YT1300 seats with a nice chess table. :P

otherstuff for my Droid Engineer Trader with his kick ass droid manufacturing machine i think it had 42.82 or something like that as far as crafting very top of the line :P also had fun as a Bounty hunter remember to this day my biggest payout was 1.286 million credits from a commando called Dominander i believe on naritus. absolutely good sport about it, had fun roleplaying and callin his ass out from inside hishouse. awesome 1 min+ fight. being a BH sucks now as most of the marks are always in Restuss so takes alot of the fun out of bhing.

 other stuff i got from vet rewards proved pretty good at getting some killer credits from rich arse players with too much money lol. oh well i miss the game, such wonderful memories.

The 51 month reward should be an ingame tube of lube.

Domander still plays on Naritus, there are quite a few of us 51 month vets still playing. And bounty hunter is very powerful currently and alot of fun to play. As far as marks only being in Restuss thats mostly true but I sure had fun when they released the revamped imperial themepark last thursday, easy pickings as they took on the rebel troops.

Good to see true vets being recognized. 

my name on naritus is Kyleran McCloud if anyone knows me on it (my droid engineer is treshgoro i made some snazzy droids for people :P one of the top best i believe or hahah at least i liked to believe helps to have a kick ass manufacturing station and top resources):P

but  i went Commando to particpate in the PVP as I had a pain in the ass time grabbing my marks and being a rebel BH made for a frustrating time. I was a good BH not the greatest but  I damn sure held my own even managed to get the GLC which helped tons only thing i never got both due to lack of assistance and or money (to buy that is) was my BH gear from DWB which had a slueth of issues. i think i still have the alum for the facemask so i can breath thru the gas but i remember last time the gasmasks where messed up anyhoo,

 not sure if anyone remembers me on there, lot of my friends on their went onto other games I remember ISB, LSEC, THORN, all great guilds. though i still saw lot of comrades, when i got that free 21 day freebee recently also people ive grouped from time to time are still there slapping each other around in retuss which i gotta admit never gets old. (almost have enough to get my first bought gear from my rec's i think currently 296 or so) but either way, i find it still fun, but im not sure if i can go back or whether or not it evenmatters at this point.

but was fun times, the only MMO i was truly loyal for more than a year SWG im 3+ years and counting. i gott admit im hoping they get better stuff so  i check back from time to time. and looks little by little they are adding more meaningful content. i gotta admit also i was appauled at the sudden explosion in credit sale spammers in MOS Eisley, i dont remember ever seeing those. now i when i went in that 21 free day trial (on my main account) i had to ignore like 10 people within one hour. i dont know if thats a good sign that gold sellers see enough population to make a profit or a bad thing cause it downgrades the game. <shrug> either way, yeah glad to see domi is still playing. tell him i said Kyleran says Hi.

I remember you. Chapter 7 which should be on TC shortly and live in a few weeks will add a TON of content and best of all the ability to add more content faster. If you were in game now you would see that the gold spammers are all "muted" due to the devs giving a small number of players the ability to mute all communication for 6 hours. It has made ME and the other places they spam lag free.

Too much time spent by $OE trying to code a game only a couple hundred people want to play is such a waste of resources.

Is combat still Benny-Hill skit-like? Do the stats still not work as advertised? How about those non-firing specials?

Two years after the NGE and these devs couldn't code a CD-ROM autorun executable without a "programming for dummies" book.

I resubbed 1-2 months ago so this may not be accurate (no active account anymore)

Benny-Hill combat - yes

Stats working - no idea

non-firing specials - mostly you dont see the animation

We've heard this one before.  Smed's justification for the CU was that it was "a new baseline that would allow them to add a lot of content to the game very quickly".  All they did was quickly work on the NGE which again was justified as needed in order to be able to do more content.

This has been lied about so many times by SOE that they can't possibly have any credibility at this point.

And yep, other than Restuss, none of the content added to SWG since the NGE and including CH7 is anything but rehashes of old content.
