Our team has 10 mappers, assisting programmers, 2 webdesigners, graphic artists and forum admins. We will join you and start a whole new game with you. One of us would become equal to you: a co-owner and developer along with you, others would just be admins. We don't need pay. We have lots of ideas in mind. Just start a game with us and we will join you. Only requirements are programming skills and motivation.

The only difference between a Troll and a Fanboi is which side of the fence they stand on. |
What do "assisting Programmers" do? Are you talking about scripters? Webdesigners are good for basically one shot deals. What exactly is a "mapper"? Are you talking about a level designer? Somebody who says "Give me the art and the tools and I'll make a random level that will fit with other random levels."? What will Forum Admins bring to the team if you join a team who wants time in development before launching a Forum? |

Assisting programmers we have are all experienced MMORPG-builders. They are available for all small jobs for free. Mappers create the landscape, the buildings, everything in their own areas. This requires a map editor to be programmed, but it is worth it. We can accomplish many maps fast with this team. The head mapper gives orders to all mappers, everything is organized. The maps aren't random. All the mappers are also experienced Forum admins control the forums, which will be built in the early stages. They try to find out what is missing in the game and what do players want. They will also adminstrate the game, doing the same thing in the game. The webdesigners will probably be needed constantly. The website will be constantly changing.
Please don't ask any meaningless question if you aren't even interested about starting a game with us |

Originally posted by JuBeso they've all built MMOs? Interesting... name some they've done.
Originally posted by JuBeExperienced doing what? And those are called "Level Designers", and it's a highly sought after job in the gamespace. So what kind of experience do they have?
Originally posted by JuBe Why forums in the early stages? Do you not feel it prudent to have the game ready for Beta before announcing it? Early announcement of a game can cause community backlash... Also, it's been my experience (yes, I was a Community Manager/Designer for a Professional MMO studio for a year and a half) that the Forum Administration should be handled by the actual team making the game.
Originally posted by JuBeHow constantly? What kind of changes? Originally posted by JuBe None of my questions were meaningless, they were all very straight forward and pointed questions to gauge more info about your team. |

I find your questions unnecessary and i assume you're not even interested about the place. But just because i'm bored:
I've never heard a 2d-mmorpg maker speak about level editors, mappers are what we call them. They have been creating maps ("levels") in other 2d mmorpg's before. Forums are good way to share information about the game and users may tell what they want and learn about the game. Player and beta-testers wont join the game until it's in that stage there will be votes and new subpages in the website at least every week. webdesigners are needed sometimes. the programmers are friends of mine and they aren't active part of the team. there's no need for me to publish their names so if you really must know, ask privately

Second, if you are serious about building a MMOG, why wouldn't post previous experience of your team? You don't have to publish names by any means, but something as simple as ... "Our Programmers have helped in titles such as Dark Age of Camelot, TheRealm, [Insert any MMO here]." The previous poster isn't asking for names/ssns/addresses. To me, your posts makes it look like you and your friends are just another group of people with big ideas(?), no apparent talent, and if they chose you to advertise for them, not very wise. Again, if you are serious, you'd want everyone reading this to see how professional you are.
[edit] I would like to see previous work that you have done as a team. Prove to your potential Co-Owner that you guys can walk the walk. |

This team has only been creating our previous projects. The games of the assisting programmers are irrelevant. Again, if you need to know, ask privately |

for the record: you are the only person who seems to think the requested information is "unneccessary" and/or "irrelavent". It's extremely comon when posting the skills and knowhow of a team to mention past experience and projects. Much like a resume. |
