well it didnt ask me it just activates it

I tryed to download it at file plane hers what happened. pop up screen says wait 59 mins, 10 min later says wait 52mins, 1 hours later says wait 30 min, again 10 min later the download page says the page cannot be displayed..no refresh button either... Hope you guys have better luck....

Could they have found a worse place to host the trial? Fileplanet stinks, the download says "10minute wait" but just keeps going up until "page cannot be displayed". Hopefully they send this file out to other sites, I even tried the bittorrent but thats useless without seeds.

well its all down to Lv i would say Strikers and Mau's may seem over powered but i think there ballanced

Just as I did with Archlord I jumped on the f2p boat and I must say this game doesn't seem as bad. It is like all other azn mmorpgs grindy but it seems much more smooth then other f2p games I have played in the past.

well since its been p2p for the last 2 years.. i would of said its got more Quality than most f2p , ive been playing it since beta.. and im really enjoying it.. i think the PVP is great.. and the pot spamming isnt as bad as people make it out to be... compared to archlord its a much better PVP based game.. :)

And some people say.. i was doing a 1vs1 and he just didint die.. and was a few lvls lower than me..ect..ect... but there forgeting.. the game is classed as RvRvR .. IE .. PVP in a Group

Yeah this never really was a 1v1 PvP game. 1v1 battles usually ended up a complete stalemate for people of equal level. RF has always been about getting the whole side together for the chip war and kicking some general ass.

Nice, going to install it again. Played Retail for a while but had some funds issue so quit, will be glad to play again. Just forgot the COG account info I used lol.

The tryrfonline link points to Fileplanet which refuses to let me download this on two different connections. I have tried several times in the last few days and it usually times out or never starts. Fileplanet is the exclusive host for the trial, I looked all over but only the optional bittorrent link was available and it has no seeds.

So far its been a wild goose chase to find a client to download. Someone posted the EP client from the phillipines RF site and I hope its in english. Fileplanet sure has been nothing short of frustrating to use .

Xersent posted computergames.ro's hosted one on page 3 of this thread. Seems like that's the only 1 with download manager support.

If you got utorrent/azureus you can do a search in google : " rf online client torrent" , wich will give you some sites to download it.I found one with a 2 hour timedownload.

As for myself i won't try it....not really my thing but if it's really F2P now then it's a nice F2P to try out.Have fun i'd say .

Found an updated client at Xfire.com, had to join up and download their chat app but its not bad. It sure beats the pants off fileplanet, that site is crapola. The xfire download started right up without a hitch, fileplanet's own download app couldnt find a mirror yet listed a 1 minute wait time
