Nice to see the female models are being shown at last!  Thanks for the link.   The customization will certainly appeal to many players.   Too bad we didn't get to see any of the scaling customization Funcom had said they will implement.    Just have to wait a bit long I guess.

To be honest I dont care if there are alot of G.I.R.L's running around ( Guys. In. Real. Life) there always has been in every mmo i've played in the last 12 years.

Good on Funcom for taking their time to do something right!

Not saying the AoC avatars are bad.  They're 10 times better than the males.  They actually look good.  The running was a bit feminine for a barbarian-esque female, but it worked for the gypsy looking avatar.  I would expect the more fierce class females to run a bit more aggressive or manly.

Looking real good though.  The topless thing could be done away with.  The only thing that'll be used for is the G.I.R.L.s asking for gold in the center of town. 

Looks like they're going to make the night elves dancing in underwear look like childsplay. :p

I will say its disappointing to see 'Yet another game that thinks cloaks are flaps of cloth on your back.' I realize that rendering a real cloak would be rough with the clipping and animation issues, but I despise seeing people run around with 'flaps' on their backs just as much. Either ditch the concept of rendering cloaks altogether (EQ1 anyone?) or do it right.

Remember: Cloak != flap.

No, not that ;)... unless it was a spawn game.

A cloak is the predecessor of the coat. It goes over your shoulders to close fully in the front. Fighting in them wasn't very viable (they're typically heavy as they're meant to keep the weather off you and keep you warm...) Take a rain poncho, and slice a opening in the front, and that's pretty much a 'full circle' cloak. There are 'half circle' cloaks, but they still go over the shoulders.

All I have are two words for you: Wacky Jack. I'm expecting to see him try and come after this game to get an AO rating like he did with San Andreas. And San Andreas didn't even show anything...

It's very well animated and the armor sets are fantastic, but the character itself looks like a failed runway model with cheap implants who's been reduced to putting on fantasy outfits at video game conventions to pay her doctors bills.

There is nothing intimidating about a person with a stick figure body, nothing hot about it either really.  I don't see anyone with no muscles like that lasting more than a week or so in the world of Conan.  She'd collapse under any of that armor. 

Although the armor and weapons and animations really do look great, very detailed and fluid.  Hopefully character creation is flexible enough that a halfway attractive female character can be made.  I really hope this is one extreme that we're seeing here.  Otherwise...ugh...so much for AoC having sex appeal.

gettin past the point of all the naked dancing for gold idiots, I wanna see just how far some of the more imaginative people will take their avatars.  I want to see all the humorous ideas they come up with cuz I know there will be some.

Well i think  the boobs look "fake" because the devs designed them to look good when wearing clothes. If they were more "natural" when naked they would have to design wonder bras as well . Im sure there is going to be a boob slider in character creation tho so you can get the size and shape you like.. lol. And before someones says it.. ryzom had a boob slider as well.

Thinking about this whole boob thing I was wondering if instead of just 2 boobs, maybe they should make it 3 boobs?  and if not would it be better if they just consolidated the 2 boobs into just 1 really big one?
