City of Heros and City of Villains look to be about the only ones you haven't tried. They are good or about 2 or 3 months, then they get kinda old. Give them a shot. |

i find that interesting because you've played more games than I have... and I'm the guy posting blogs that the games are too much alike. Uh Oh! But hey; not one to give up hope; it WOULD be easier I think to suggest games if you could give us an idea WHAT left you unsatisfied about these games - and heck maybe you don't know... but IF you can articulate it; maybe others (not me sadly - the two games i was looking forward to both broke my lil' black heart already) could better direct you towards what you seek? Do you know what you're looking for?

RE: City of Heroes Hey even i enjoyed it for a minute... and its really no more super-hero (other than looks) than most of the fantasy games; now is it?
maybe thats part of it... tired of fantasy games that are really superhero games? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=grCTXGW3sxQ |

You know - the game i don't see in your list is D&DOnline... Even tho' it ultimately wasn't for me; I did enjoy it for awhile. But MY reasons for leaving - that it was a little too much like other mmo's rather than D&D - probably won't bother you. If they've got a free trial it can't hurt... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=grCTXGW3sxQ |

Slyths, there are lots of games that you can try for free (trials) - the only cost is the amount of time for the download. Off the top of my head, there are currently free trials for EverQuest 2, World of Warcraft, Lord of the Rings Online, Lineage 2, Dark Age of Camelot, City of Heroes, etc, etc, etc. What I'd suggest you do is scroll through the "Game List" (link at the top of the MMORPG page, towards the right, next to F.A.Q.) and write down a list of the games that have (a) been release and (b) strike your fancy... then go to that company's website and see if they have a free trial (or search google since sometimes the trials are somewhat hidden). I find that the best opinions about games are the ones that you form on your own, not the ones that you read here. |

Could go through the gamelist above and look for free trials amongst themto try out.It could also be you are just tired of what's on the market nowlike many many mmorpg players likemsyelf experience.I've gone back to planetside to keep me busy untill the new batch comes along , wich probably won't be until 2008 looking at all the release dates being pushed back lately. |
