ok im probly gonna get one of three games, EQ, CoV, or WoW ill post some pros and cons for each blah de blah blah more boring reading stuff

EverQuest

PROS

epic quests with class specific weapons

good classes

good character cusimization

already have some good characters

easy to get money (great for people like me who are used to consal games where money isent an issue)

CONS

hardly any players

repeditive play

gets kinda stale after awhile (trust me i once played for 2 days without stoping...and yes i did loose a bet)

really nothing new to it

City of Villains

PROS

good graphics

great character custimization

CONS

classes suck

no mounts

World of Warcraft

PROS

iv only played the trial so its still got that new car smell

i atlest know acouple of people that play

CONS

cartoonie graphics

money is hard to make

levels go extreamly slow

need high levels to get mounts

expencive mounts

 99.99% of players are whinny (forgot about it earilyer and no offence to players but from what IV seen its true)

PLEASE CAN ANYONE HELP ME i like all three games im just not sure what one to get EQ and WoW are my two personal favs so CoV is just kind of a third wheel, SO KEEP THAT IN MIND and note im voteing myself but its compleatly at random

WOWs fun to lvl up though for the first time, but after you hit max lvl it starts to get borning.  Maybe you should try EQ2s free tirial to see if you like it.

i might, i already have the WoW ten day free trial to check it out i did because i was broke wanted to play a game OTHER then the escape to norrath trial and it dident help me because it added a game to choise from :D

could tell ya alot more problems with each of those games, lol ... i've been looking for something to play as well, DAOC got old for me after playing pretty much since release, and I gotta say , there isnt a game out there worth a minute of my time :|

yea, i know the feeling im kinda getting sick of mmorpgs to be honest but theres really nothing else to do where i live so im 100% fucked mmo's whould be much better with more players, and around his time of year its hard to find people for group quests

Final Fantasy 11? Its a change of pace and playstyle, requires a good bit o dedication though. Really not recommended if you prefer instant gratification/easy grind type of mmo's

Lotro is..eh okay..fun the first time you play through imo

Maplestory just so you can say to yourself, "wtf?"

You really should do what I did though, buy FF12 *single player one* and forget all about mmo's till a good one comes out ;p

I say wow, get in before it's too late and new and better games come out...EQ2 and and COV are something of the past.

You don't really need mounts in City of Heroes/Villains.  The travel powers are better and faster than most mounts in games, anyway.  I think they all have free trials so it should be pretty easy to see which one you enjoy the most.  Personally, I've enjoyed them all and still play EQ2 and CoX now and then. 

As for EQ2 and CoV being a thing of the past... EQ2 and WoW were both released in the same month of the same year, no?  And CoV was released a year after, I believe.

Sorry.  I was actually saying that to the person above me because of his comment about it being a thing of the past.  I haven't played the original EQ for years and I wasn't too crazy about it when I did.  Anyway, good luck finding something you like.  Luckily, if you end up not fancying any of them, there are some interesting games coming out in the not too distant future.

yea but after like 3 or 4 posts about EQ2 i felli have to make sure everyone knows im talking about the FIRST eq

well i found 2 ways around it...get one after each other find out what one i like best .......or not get any and keep my money
