I voted WoW. Yes I know, I'm going to hell but out of the picks, it IS the best of that group, to me. LoTRo is just way too devoid of content and stale. FFXI is great...if you don't mind spending 10 hours lfg, and 30 minutes playing before your healer bails. And the interface is kinda clunky since it's half built for PCs, half for consoles. MXO: The good idea that wasn't. Beta was awesome, but the world is just pretty yet amazingly dull. RO...don't get me wrong I loved RO. But it had the same twitch mentality other Asian MMOs do, and it was too full of bots and 10-yr olds to stand for long. |

The only reason why WOW is the best is because of how old it is, and how much content they have in the game. I think they are back petting now because of all the new MMO’s being release. I think you will see new content coming out faster and faster as more of the new Gen of MMO's are being release, it's not like they don't have the money hehehe. I think EvE is also one of those games that has an edge over everyone because of the none Typical Sword and Orc crap A guild war is another game that is quite different and has a edge because it is free, but the content is very week and i get tired of the spamming because of the lack of a AH. but i do have all games and will buy the next one. but you can finish them in a 2 months or less. There biggest problem is everyone looks the same. Lord of the Rings. Great story line, but if you played WOW it would not be over the top. If you’re new to MMO I would recommend it EQ2, Big game but i do find it too grinding just my opinion. Great Lore I think all the games are great. WOW has an edge on most only because of the Content. WOW i think at ths point will not gain ground because of the weak graphics and this is becoming a hot topic. i wish they would keep everything the same and just add a new engine, how hard could it be with Billions in the bank. Bliz would never do that because at this point Bliz can do whatever it wants. and if WOW 2 ever comes out in the next 10 years I can tell you it would be even bigger than the last just due to its fan base. I left WOW for a while once I made it to 70, just went back and it was fun again. ALL ALLY MUST DIE hehehe

It question what do you like or what you dont like... Someone like future so best for them will be AO and Eve. Some like fantasy so for them WoW and EQ. Who are best of those games is question of what someone look from game. Do you want PvP, or PVE, or maybe bouth...

Voted for MxO because Anarchy-Online wasn't on the list..... and even though i never really got into MxO i really liked the way the skill tree is in Mxo (being able to change class/Prof at will and the crafting system)

I am actually new to the MMORPG world....Been on second life for a while then one of my friend told me about this free game called Metin2.... I am having a good time there. Considering it is free, I'd say it is one of the best game out there. LIke the community there... The url is www.metin2.us We may say each other there.. =) |

Disagree like 5000000000% with the previous post lol.... Sweetanna, i think you better search for other MMOs, because actually that game is one of the worst f2p out there lol, and second life i dont consider that a game.....i think ur very very very new to the MMORPG world, so....try out others ...because if you liked metin2 you would like almost all the games lol.....
Try these free to play games: -Cabal -Archlord -Sword of the New World -Flyff -2Moons -9Dragons -Silkroad
Try some of these i think you will like them....

LOTRO is a good game and a definite good choice as a filler but it has no end-game at present. So come in by all means but come with your eyes open. There's about 2-3 months of content to keep your busy aside from PvMP which probably adds another month.
If it's items that your after then the current status-quo is Crafted>Raided>Quested>Dropped
If you want to make crafted items yourself it's a familiar system to what you used in WoW with a couple of additions.
You need to 'crit' items to make the ones which are actually useful and to level your crafting you have to 'master' it which in effect means levelling each teir twice which is a drag TBH. and you have to master all teirs in order, you can't just master artisan that would be too easy :) _________________________________________ |
